It was good to know that I didn't need to drive around hunting for a space to park. It was very close to the train station which was handy however there was just the one space left of what was actually a small carpark that you could pay for on arrival. The space was right next to the wall and was just ok to fit into.

Whilst visiting the Edinburgh Castle we…
Whilst visiting the Edinburgh Castle we struggled to find reasonably priced parking. Managed to find Spittal Street Lane parking. I have to say it was a bit tight, but we managed to get in and out easily enough in a 2022 Nissan Qashqai taking it steady. It cost £6.69 which for 3 hours wasn't too bad. I only realised you had to book your space online before entering to secure a spot. I paid for my space when parked luckily it got accepted with no issues.
My advice, if you are not confident at driving don't even bother.

There were plenty of spaces in the car park. Very good value for money and booking was easy. The only negative comment is the fact the car park was untidy. A good brush of waste on the floor would have improved my experience. Overall pleased with experience.

Upon arrival the driveway was clear for us. Plenty of room for the car either side. Never met the owner but we had no problems at all. We collected the car with no problems at all either.
Location was perfect for getting away and avoiding traffic.
