I have bought from Joseph Turner for many years and until recently was very pleased with their clothes, especially their trousers.
However the last 2 pairs of corduroys that I bought were very poorly cut and the buttons were poor too.
The creases swung dramatically inwards after a couple of wears.
I complained and was asked to send them back.
The reply was that, although they had changed Bulgarian tailoring companies, there was nothing wrong with the trousers, implying it was my shape.
The fact that old trousers have never displayed this problem was apparently irrelevant.
I have promised myself not to buy from them again as not only has their quality deteriorated but their customer service is dreadful.
OH and when they returned the cords they had replaced the 2 broken buttons - but one was in the wrong place!

Do not buy from this company unless you are happy to carry on receiving mailshots for the rest of your life, regardless of what you tell them. We have been trying to get them to stop for years now (return to sender, return to sender inside another envelope etc) but nothing works.

Wanted to reach out to the Joseph Turner team and say a massive thank you. I ordered a shirt for a wedding that sadly didn't arrive in time, no fault of theirs. I was called once to advise it was at a depot and once to follow up to make sure I collected. When they called the second time I advised I would need to return the shirt and they were extremely helpful, telling me best thing was to leave it so it would be returned and they would process the refund. I just received a call and voicemail confirming my refund. I consider outstanding service and the most proffessional company I have dealt with in this regard. I wish them the best of luck and will certainly be purchasing next time I'm in need. Thanks Again. Sean

Joseph Turner once made decent quality shirts. Now they are impossible to iron at home to any satisfactory state, so if you want a shirt for work purposes, these are completely useless.

Joseph Turner's mens' clothes are well made and of good quality . They are sadly usually well outside my budget , but I managed to find a lovely Shetland wool sweater in the clearance section , which was affordable and no-one else seemed keen to buy. A rare event indeed !

Allow me to quote from the Joseph Turner website. This lambswool jumper is a ‘combination of superior raw materials and spinning techniques used by Knoll Yarns of Ilkley, Yorkshire’. I’ve seen this phraseology used before. I assume the technique is the ability of a person in China to press the on/off button on the spinning machine.

Make no mistake this is Made in China and sold at a premium price in the UK under the veil that it has a bucolic English mill provenance.

Quality wise it’s not that good and after three outings it has already started to pill up on the arms. Avoid.

Just bought a short sleeve linen shirt. Excellent quality only sorry they have no more stock in my size. Would have bought three more!

Efficient ordering process and delivery of quality lambswool cardigan. As this is a Christmas present for my husband he of course hasn't worn it yet but it looks well made and smart in a lovely colour.

I had received your catalogue before, but thought things a little on the expensive side. However when one arrived recentlywith a 20% special offer, thought I would give you a try. Ordered 2 shirts and a sweatshirt and was not disappointed, obviously very good quality.
Will be ordering again when I need something.

I have recently ordered a pair of sandals and linen trousers from Joseph Turner on line. Delivery was very prompt and the prices were really good bargains for both items. The men’s sandals are a perfect fit, and lined with a soft leather, resistant to salt water, and way better than hard plastic in my last pair! The linen trousers fit perfectly and are of a very high quality tailoring.

Ordered 2 linen short sleeve shirts for my son’s birthday.They are beautifully made and the colours are lovely. Unfortunately the fit is far too generous for somebody of average height!! We will try an exchange for a smaller size and hope it is not as long in the body.If not with regret will have to return them.

The husband bought some moleskin jeans. He is very pleased with them as they are an excellent fit and the quality is good too. He will buy some more if available.

In the first instance would not accept my card details on line so placed telephone order very efficient excellent quality although annoyed boxers are now £4.00 cheaper in sale but wouldn't go past J. T. As I do think the general make a quality item at reasonable cost

Great products and services, I was attracted to the company as use British wool but was slightly disappointed that manufactured in China and Romania. That said the two jumpers I bought are really good quality and fit really well, I would buy from Joseph Turner again.
