I am in the process of securing a rental property from John Shepherd Estate agents.
Mohammed Ibrahim was already at the property when I went to view it. He took his time to show me around, explained everything I needed to know and he answered all my questions regarding the property kindly and respectfully.
He was really professional throughout the viewing.

Great in some ways
John Shepard have been excellent to use, they are responsive, the property we rent has been great, I would love to recommend them as a estate agent except from one glaring issue.
they use a company called WPG to fix any issues/manage the properties and it is a NIGHTMARE! they do not respond to anything, it took a week to replace my broken fob and I had no way to get in my own flat so had to keep ringing housemates to let me in, it is seemingly just one guy who does not care whatsoever, it is seemingly impossible to get a hold of him. Moreover, for some reason wpg literally just uses one person, and everything completely hinges on one guy who is impossible to contact. My bed broke and It was still incredibly difficult to get a hold of him.
aside from this they have been excellent but its hard to recommend them with service like this.

I had an excellent experience working with Mohammed Ibrahim. From start to finish, he was professional, friendly, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire letting process. He was always quick to respond to any questions, kept me updated every step of the way, and made everything as smooth and stress-free as possible.

I had an absolutely excellent experience with Lara Soares-White as my property manager. Both during and after my tenancy ended she was consistently professional, responsive, and helpful. Any questions or issues I had (including mistakenly overpaying my rent after my tenancy terminated) she went above and beyond to ensure issues were resolved efficiently.

My tenancy also coincided with the introduction of the Renters Rights Act legislation, which was a period of learning and unknown for both tenants and property professionals. Despite this, Lara handled everything with confidence, transparency, and explained the various questions I had about the new laws.

The level of service I received was genuinely exemplary. If was to return to Birmingham I would actively seek a tenancy with John Shepherd due to the service I received from her.

I would highly recommend both the company and Lara to anyone looking for a seamlessly smooth renting experience.

Joshua Davies is an excellent Property management and I am very pleased he has been assigned this role. He is very prompt in his responses should I have a query or a concern. He is excellent at communicating and making me feel at ease. Christina Tzemanaki and Elisha Robinson have been excellent in addressing my maintenance issues and very responsive to my queries. I have had great service with John Shepherd. We rent and our contact Tina is always helpful and pleasant to communicate with. Any issues are dealt with promptly. No complaints here.

Christina Tzemanaki from the compliance department was very prompt on getting back to me regarding my request and clarification on the changes in contacts I had. I appreciate in a large company processes are streamlined within relevant departments, however prompt communication with tenants goes a long way.

Christina has been a massive help when arranging maintenance issues that come up. As a contractor its good to know that someone is knowledgable and can relay the correct information for when we attend.
