Jim's is a family business and leading retailer of British and expat food products in Switzerland, and neighbouring France, since 1996. Our main focus is delivering a great service, along with a huge variety of fresh, frozen and ambient goodies. We have a store in Gland (VD) and our jims.ch webshop delivers all across CH. The 'B' (rexit) word has been banned, however these challenging times have created connections and partnerships with new suppliers, opened up new routes we would not have considered and enabled us to bring a wider variety of products than ever before. But the thing we value most is our customers, and we pride ourselves in making sure that everyone who walks through our door in Gland, or orders from jims.ch, leaves happy in the knowledge we did everything we could to make their experience with us a great one.

My first time ordering. I enjoyed picking out new products, the order was well packed and here in a relatively short time. Thank you!

I deleted my post because I am a nice…

I deleted my post because I am a nice person who felt bad for your family company...but, still 3 phone calls to attack me? That is an aggressive way to treat your customers! Oh, by the way, I also have the right to post a review that I ordered 2 malt vinegars AND everything in the box was coated in it, it was wrapped so bad in plastic! A reputable company would send OPEN BOTTLES OUT TO CUSTOMERS! I might report you, I think I will! Disgusting, obviously not good enough! So, I had to take the box to my kitchen sink and rinse everything...THE PLANKO SAGE BREADCRUMB MIX DID NOT SURVIVE!!! How about that, maybe 2 wet boxes of stuffing mix is worth a new review...p.s., I have photos of this debacle).
Lets see...

Dear Laura, firstly thank you for deleting your previous review, which was equally as agressive and inaccurate as this one.

That review was about your order not being delivered, whereas it had been (1 day earlier than expected) and La Poste had left a note in your letterbox, with your subsequent emails to us asking about your delivery having been missed as they landed in our junk mail, which upset you and rightly so.

The 3 phone calls you mention in this review were:
1. Me (the owner of Jim’s) calling to personally apologize and explain the situation. That call went to voicemail.
2. A member of staff who didn’t realise I was trying to reach you who was kindly calling you to explain that your package was with La Poste. She reported back to me to say that you were very friendly and that there were no issues.
3. I then followed up with another phone call as I wanted to speak to you in person and explain about the emails in the junk mail as my member of staff hadn’t. You were very friendly and you even apologized for your original 1* review.
Therefore your comment above about those phone calls being an ‘attack’ and ‘an agressive way to treat customers’ is grossly unfair and inaccurate.

In that same call I asked if, all things considered, you could kindly remove your review and your response was ‘why should I?’ to which I responded that it did not reflect the whole picture, that your parcel had in fact been delivered, and that we had done everything we could to rectify the situation, and that your review was therefore inaccurate and damaging to our business. You refused again and as I tried to defend our position you hung up on me.

As a business that prides itself on providing excellent service we do not take kindly to being defamed for no reason and I subsequently blocked your account on our webshop and your Gmail account from contacting our staff.

In regards to the broken items you mention in your latest review, I will refund you the value of the whole order minus the delivery costs (chf 44,60.-) when I’m back from holiday on 10th August and we wish you all the best.

User friendly online shop

User friendly online shop, great choice and quick delivery. Good job. I will be shopping with you again.

Please pay better attention to the packaging as the box had not doubt been mishandled by the courrier service and a packet of biscuits took the brunt of the shock and ended up as crumbs.
