Review summary

Created with AI, based on recent reviews

Evaluating 55 reviews, most reviewers were unhappy with their experience overall. Many customers reported significant issues with the service, including long waits for buses, rude drivers, and difficulties finding parking spaces, often leading to missed flights or holidays. The car parks themselves were frequently described as overcrowded, poorly maintained, and difficult to navigate, with some even experiencing flooding. Additionally, many found the pricing to be excessive, especially when unexpected charges or penalties were applied. However, some customers also noted positive experiences, praising helpful and friendly bus drivers who went above and beyond to assist passengers, making their journeys smoother and more pleasant. These positive interactions often involved drivers providing excellent customer service, such as assisting with luggage or rerouting to ensure passengers made their flights.

Jetparks appear to have gone under

We booked via Looking4Parking and as per the email instructions rang the dedicated number 30 mins before we were due to arrive at the Heathrow car park. I was told that Looking4parking had gone bust and the booking didn't exist, but I could email and get a refund. This really did not make sense, especially as Looking4Parking was still providing quotes online, but there was no direct number to contact L4P. Had it been via Holiday Extras it would have been okay. I called the car park number again from my husband's phone and was told again L4P had gone bust but if I went to Maple Parking in the same area they would sort us out. We felt we didn't really have a lot of choice as we had a plane to catch, and when we got to the car park the guys there confirmed we had no booking and put us on to their own customer services to see if we could book through them. £305 later and we managed to get a parking space for 2 weeks, on top of the original £95 booking! We really should've flown from Manchester which was nearer but dearer but hey, hindsight eh!

On return, car was fine and there waiting, but it wasn't Jetparks we parked with. As L4P still appeared to be up and running I emailed them about it and got a reply that didn't actually answer my questions about whether they had gone into administration, but they did say that my contract was with the external car park operator (in this instance Jetparks) and offered a refund. So I can only assume it is Jetparks in trouble though a courtesy email in advance of turning up at the airport would have been appreciated so we didn't have a mass panic and could have made less expensive alternative arrangements. I am still mystified though as a booking via Holiday Extras would have been fine, but it seemed to be L4P that was the problem at the airport so who knows...

Manchester parking May 2024

Manchester parking May 2024 - What a terrible experience with miserable grumpy staff.
Arrived and found the carpark fine, number plate recognition let us in, parked easily - so far so good.
There were two of us with sports luggage - carefully packed bikes in compact bike specific luggage - and we have travelled like this for 30 years.
There is supposed to be an airport bus every 15-20 mins - but the carpark was full of droves of people wandering around with bags like the aftermath of an natural disaster. We found our way to the nearest bus stop and wondered why there was a throng of people near the enterance.
The bus duly arrived and our now little crod of excited expectant travellers approached the bus and the doors opened and a grumpy driver told us in a miserable tome "no chance of getting you lot on here and I can't take bikes"..... Now a group of nervous for time not so happy customers.... "why dont you go to that stop there and wait" he advises a stop not too far away.
Twenty minutes later and the nervous but expectant crowd at the new stop get twitchy as we realise the stop is further round the car park thatn the last stop and we now notice the bigger crowd is waiting at the enternace for the bus to come in... which it does and immediately fills......
Now an exasperated bunch of nervous passengers worried about missing flights.... so we make our way to the first stop..... next bus pulls up and the doors open to which anotherr grumpy driver yells "Can't you read" - it does say on the front drop off only but this isn't visible to most of the crowd from the side of the bus.
The same bus does a circuit and comes back - "no room for bikes" (even though were near the front now) comes thw war cry.
We give up and order an Uber XL for us and the bikes which takes us around to the airport which is probably less than a mile direct footpath but a couple by road (they could have told us).
We were in the carpark waiting for over 90 minutes in all.
We got to the airport and were rushed through check in and security when we vented our anger, getting to be the last passengers on the flight.
On the way back we walked - took around 30-40 mins.

Overall a terrible service staffed by miserable unhelpful staff. This type of service can only be sustatined by a captive market who have nowhwere else to go.

If booking why not park somewhere else and use the extra time for a stroll to the airport because you'll need to leave an extra hour or two if you use this poor excuse for a service.

SCAM DO NOT BOOK FOR HEATHROW T5

SCAM. I would rate zero if I could. Left our car for just over 2 weeks, after a 15 hour flight home we couldn’t contact anyone to collect the car. A member of staff from another company (who also seemed pretty dodgy) said that jetparks had gone bankrupt and to call the police. We called them and they were no help. Read all the reviews here and went to the Hilton garden inn with another couple in the same situation who had managed to contact jetparks and had also told them to come to this hotel. They met us with our keys in an awful car park at the back of the hotel and didn’t care at all. We were surprised to find our cars at all to be honest and it was just the worst way to end our holiday. Ended up home at 3am instead of midnight, avoid these like the plague and to be honest I would avoid all of these services at Heathrow as the other companies seemed to know they were scamming us and were pedalling some lies about bankruptcy.

If I could leave 0 stars I would.

If I could leave 0 stars, I would. Booked 2 cars for a group of 4 musicians with a lot of baggage for Heathrow Terminal 2. 2 and a half weeks away in North America, return journey was a long 30 hour trip. Returned to the airport only to receive a call that the drivers were on strike and that we had to make our own way to the compound to collect our cars. No one was going to meet us with our vehicles. 2 Uber XL's later at a cost of £80, considerably later than if we'd been met at the appropriate time with our vehicles. Requested and received a written admission of the incomplete service and offer of a full refund from the staff who handed us our keys.
Contacted Skyparksecure following the incident, who we booked through, only to be told that the most they could offer was to reimburse our uber cost or give 40% refund of the parking fee. Since that meant we had essentially still paid full price for the parking service, I refused and was given no better option. Avoid at all costs, both the broker and Jetparks. Neither care beyond taking your money and will not give you the service you pay for. Check the other reviews and avoid.

Jet parks and Skyparksecure avoid fraudulent sites.

Booked through Sky park secure and a weeks parking was £74.38 at Heathrow for 6 nights .
When I arrived on the 11-5-2024 I called jet parks but no one answers phone.
Stuck at Heathrow I had to pay another £138.50 to get another company there to park my car.
Avoid Jet parks and Skyparksecure . I’m contacting my credit card company as this is fraud .

Arrived at Heathrow 2 on May 22nd to be…

Arrived at Heathrow 2 on May 22nd to be told there was a problem with returning my car. I think the person said concerning communication but were told to proceed to the Hilton Hotel at Terminal 4. Eventually arrived by bus to be told that there were 2 Hilton Hotels. We had already discovered a third on a higher level. A kind guy who was helping with taxis told us that the Hilton in question was at Hatton Cross according to the post code given us. It was in a rough car park behind the hotel. Staff manager seemed completely unconcerned. Eventually arrived home two hours late. We were told on the phone to keep copies of the bus tickets and taxi fare in order to secure a refund. I sent a claim for 50% of the Car Park charges (since the return part had not been legally fulfilled) to Skyparksecure plus the expenses. I received a message to say that they could only offer 40% but I could contact Jetparks who had handled the Meet and Greet and claim that from them. I contacted Jetparks over a week ago and have had no response. Would recommend not to have dealings with either of these companies. Semi-criminal.

An absolute shower of shi#te

An absolute shower of shi#te. Incapable of servicing level of passengers. Claim bus every 15 mins, nearer 45 mins, if your lucky! Gravel car parks, the wheels on your Gucci luggage will get wrecked! Disgraceful! A complete rip off for airport parking. CEO should be sacked!

Terrible experience

Terrible experience. Returned from holiday to find company bankrupt and no car. No one is answering the phone or emails. After a chat with the police and some detective work, we managed to locate the Jetparks / Blue Circle compound. It is at the rear of the Hilton Garden Inn, TW6 2SQ. There are probably around 100 cars there, with two portacabins. We were lucky enough to meet another couple in the same position who had already discovered that one cabin had a lot of clothes and items stolen from people’s cars apparently, and the other the keys. A bit of ingenuity and we were able to get our cars out. Absolute disgrace as they are still taking bookings and indeed collected our car when already in trouble. Do not use this sham company.

Be warned!

I left my car with JetParks Meet and Greet at Heathrow terminal 2 on March 6th while I visit family in the US for an extended period. On Sunday 5th May I arrived back at Heathrow at approx 0930. I waited for 2 hours for JetParks to return my car to me. Firstly I was unable to contact Jet them from baggage reclaim as requested because they did not pick up the phone! When I eventually did get hold of someone at the company I was already outside the car park waiting. I was told my car would arrive within 20 minutes. It did not. I called again repeatedly and each time I was told it was on the way and would be with me in 19 minutes. On one occasion I was even told it was in the tunnel outside Terminal2!
Eventually after an hour and a half I was told that they could not start the car due to a flat battery. This car was serviced 2 days prior to the booking and I can only presume a light was left on inside when it was parked up.
They jump started my car and brought it to me but it broke down on the ramp exiting the terminal blocking all the traffic. The employee who returned the car drove past and waved with no offer of help! The car had to be moved to one side by the Heathrow police and The AA breakdown service had to be called.
Allowing the battery to fully discharge damaged the battery which had to be replaced at a cost of £254.99 before I could begin my journey home.
My main issue here is that they had my return flight details. My car should have been ready for me when I returned. When JetParks was contacted someone repeatedly lied as to the whereabouts of my car to the point that I was about to call the police and report it stolen.
And then there is the issue of the damaged battery!
I received an email from Feefo asking me to review JetParks service. I wanted to give them the opportunity to respond to my complaint before I did this so emailed the company. They have not replied despite contacting them again.
Avoid this company!

I mislaid a parcel at the Jet 3 Park in…

I mislaid a parcel at the Jet 3 Park in Manchester on 19/5. I realised I’d left it at the bus stop as soon as I got to the airport. I tried to find a telephone number which was difficult (clearly they don’t want to speak to anyone!) At last I found one (I think!) and left a message on an answerphone with all the information ie when/where/time … I’ve not even received a message acknowledging my call.
I’ve now returned home, the email address advertised on the notice boards has just bounced back! I’ve tried for hours to find some sort of contact information to no avail… it’s a disgrace. There should be some form of customer service, the car park costs enough. It brags of 24hr security and CCTV, I’m certainly not convinced that either are in place!

Avoid at all costs

Car was collected from Heathrow two weeks ago as part of the package I'd booked through looking4parking.com
Returned to Heathrow last night and tried the new numbers that looking4parking had sent when I was on holiday, but multiple calls went unanswered.
I was starting to panic and a member of staff at another company at Heathrow told me Jetparks had gone bankrupt and to call the police (called both Heathrow police and the met, both unable to help, saying this is a civil matter).
Thankfully I read the reviews here and took an user to Heathrow Hilton Garden Inn, where I found my car in an abandoned field.
I can't believe that Jetparks are still showing as available to book online. Absolute con artists.

Criminals

Arrived home to no one answering the meet and greet phone number. Managed to find where my car was parked. Got a taxi at the cost of £24 to find my car just in a dusty field. Managed to get my car and car keys but I worry for other people. Do not book. Apparently they’re now banned from Heathrow and gone bust! Get a taxi to Hilton T4 to find your car

Not secure I had items stolen- No spaces

I have only given one star as I can give zero or minus. Finding a space took nearly half an hour. When I returned. My spare wheel was stolen and Jetparks have been absolutely unconcerned and have not bothered to even check the security footage. Even getting through was difficult and when I did manage they were not bothered. I sent an email and go what looked like an automatic reply that they were not liable to any losses.

Absolute total disgrace

Absolute total disgrace, we retuned from nearly 24 hours of travel to London Heathrow on 21st May, no one answered my call to bring my car to the terminal, we had to pay £26.40 to get a taxi to try and find my car, I have continually tried to speak to someone, no one answers and I can’t leave a message, do NOT use this company!!! I would score them a nil. Never ever again

Terrible service. Transfer buses nonexistent!

We parked in Jetparks Ringway at Manchester airport.
Genuinely a terrible experience and I would not recommend this to anyone.
We almost missed our flight as despite waiting for 45 minutes a transfer bus never arrived. Likewise when we returned to the UK we waited over an hour for the transfer bus to take us back to the car park and a bus never arrived.
We ended up ordering Ubers for both occasions to take us to and from the airport.

Well done to Jet Parks Ringway security

Booked Jet Parks Ringway for 10 days. Bus was full but quick transfer to Terminal 1.
I had to return earlier than planned and again transfer was quick to parking.
When I tried to leave ANPR would not allow me, so I used intercom to talk to their control room. When I explained that I was leaving early I had to give reference number and contact details then I was allowed to leave. Well done to their security systems.

Criminals. Nobody answering calls, cars not returned. People having to locate where their car has been dumped, only to find an abandoned portacabin with 100’s of keys lying all over a desk. Avoid at all costs and report to police.
