Very light and comfortable shoes However, the return is frustrating because they don’t let you return for free even when the item is damaged!! They offer 10% which is $3-5 and pass the damage item to someone else! How absurd is that?!

The loafers are actually comfortable, which surprised me. Usually new shoes hurt somewhere, but these were fine even after walking around for a few hours.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS SITE!! I paid over $150 dollars for an outfit that looked liked it was made by a middle schooler learning to sew for the first time. The material was low quality, and the outfit was unwearable. They do not allow for free returns and even want you to pay a restocking fee. Keep in mind this junk is made in China so sending it back is not cheap. I tried to stop payment and was unsuccessful. So I am stuck with this worthless outfit.

SCAM. Products had no company label, no size label, no fabric description label, no label with washing instructions. Poor quality products. They make you think they are in the USA, but they are from China. You have to pay for returns to China.
The quality of the clothing and shoes I bought was really, really poor.
Why do they get some good ratings? Because they bribe purchasers with refunds if the purchaser provides a good rating.
Check out this place at the Better Business Bureau site before you order. You'll see others with the same terrible experience.

While looking for an attractive flat shoe, I discovered the Jennifer & John Charleston website. The shoes were more casual than dressy, but attractive. I checked to see if they sold size 11 but didn't immediately place an order because the prices were prohibitive. Somehow, an order for 3 pairs of size 4 loafers went through! I made numerous attempts to contact customer service and received only ONE response telling me that they "were not able to accept returns because they didn't have a store in the US and that I should give the shoes to someone else. They'd give me a 15% discount on my next purchase." I found an address for them in Delaware and sent the shoes back. I never received a credit for the purchase, and no one EVER communicated with me.
