Affordably priced with a large space and cardio section. Lack of gym instructor to give exercise advise/plan which we can book like othee gym. No stream/sauna facility. Only one back extension

First time to dance fit. Really enjoyed it. Good fun and great instructor

I do not need to use my phone to get in and out of the GYM. It should be a pin as all GYMs.
The bathroom has no hanger to put my cloth on. The electricity went off in the bathroom while the shampoo was on my head.

I honestly don’t understand how cancelling a membership can be this difficult in 2026.

Signing up? That was quick, simple, and straightforward. No issues at all.

Cancelling? Completely different story (Probably on purpose).

I went through the official JD Gyms cancellation process on their website, filled in the form properly, and provided all the details they asked for. Straightforward, right? That’s what you would expect.

A few days later, I receive an email asking me… for the exact same information again.

Not even different details. The same things I had already submitted.

What makes it worse is that the email subject already includes cancellation and my gym location. So clearly, they have my details (From the form). They were able to identify me enough to open a case and send me an email — but somehow not enough to process the cancellation?

So what was the point of the form?

It feels like unnecessary friction added to a process that should be simple. Signing up is easy, but cancelling feels intentionally painful.

At best, it’s inefficient. At worst, it feels like a deliberate attempt to slow things down.

Not a great experience at all.

Spacious, good lighting, plenty of machines, amazing environment, perfect.

Can I ask if the gym is busy between 4.00am and 6:00 am? I'm considering joining however I need that info before as I don't have much time to train. Thank you :)

The gym only has one pec fly machine. It needs at least one more.

The machines are worn out, for example, the padding on the bicep machine is completely collapsed, so it feels like your elbow is resting on bare metal.
The disabled changing room/shower area is dirty.
There isn’t a single hook or bench, so you have to put your stuff on the filthy floor.
There are no lockers for clothes, so after 10pm there’s nowhere to store our belongings and the changing room is locked at 10pm. Why???
The whole place is shit and overpriced. £10 would be a realistic price.

Only used the gym twice so far but each time I’ve never had to wait to use any equipment.
The machines look well looked after but for one, (the pec fly) the seat could not be put in different positions owing to some defect. (Rugby JD).
Apart from that everything was fine, water on tap unlike everlast which I’d just left that doesn’t supply water.
Changing rooms and shower were In good order but the hooks that should be on the backs of the shower doors not one cubicle had one on despite there being evidence of there having been one attached, again Rugby JD.

I had a problem renewing my membership. During my second visit to the gym, my QR code stopped working and I couldn’t enter the gym.

Dirty benchs everywhere too much stinky in gym . Too dirty near smith machine stinky. benchs to dirty

I love the variety of classes and the equipment. I am enjoying using the gym. I gave 4 stars because the app can be glitchy when it comes to entry, and it needs an upgrade. Additionally, it would be nice to see the gym staff around without having to seek them out when help is needed. Once again, amazing Gym

I can do what I planned and there is enough equipment for all.
I have what I need including Pull-up bars, Kettlebells and most important 4 heavy boxing bags

JD gym is unique in its own way as it provides me access 24hrs. I love the atmosphere inside and the staff’s are always ready to help. The gym is accessible to everyone and anyone regardless your physical abilities . The equipments are fantastic and you will not be standing in line to use any. The place is absolutely clean and fresh all the time . I can go on and on but give it a shot and you will feel at home in JD.

The machines are good but the gym is quite small. There aren't many classes during the day which is a real shame. More classes would be great!

I also tried to use the gym twice in a day and upon trying the second time it wouldn't let me in which was a shame

The gym has everything I want. The employees are very nice, and the facility is attractive, large, and neat.

The temperature in the gym early morning is ridiculous, I attend at 6am and the weights are that cold you need to rub your hands to warm them up prior to the set! This morning I witnessed a lady on the treadmill in a north face puffer jacket….. can a review of the room temperature be done asap all I hear is in a morning is people complaining about the temp.
