Good gym. Equipment could be cleaner. But the personal trainer Zak is amazing at what he does, only here for him. Knows what he’s doing, easy to get along with and I’m achieving my fitness goals.

Suffering from success
The equipment provided is excellent but parking is terrible.
This gym is the definition of "Suffering from success" it's a great gym, irreplacable in fact especially as far as local gyms go, it beats PureGym by a mile and a half.
But the absolute state of business here ruins the entire experience, im desperate to find a suitable alternative to this place, and there are low standards for the people who will mess with machines in the wrong way, not clean up after themselves and leave dumbbells everywhere
It's a 50/50 thing, such a shame too considering the equipment side of things is excellent but you spend most of the experience waiting for machines, moving other people's plates around, cleaning chairs that have been freshly shat in, etc

That said, we’re really sorry to hear about the frustrations you’ve experienced during your visits. We understand how busy the gym can get, especially at peak times, and how this can impact your workout when you’re waiting for equipment or having to work around others.
We also take member etiquette seriously, so it’s disappointing to hear about the issues you’ve raised around equipment being left out and cleanliness. Charge £30 a month
Charge £30 a month, half the machines don’t function correctly and have tension, many machines are broke and out of service
They’re quick to take your money, but lack the care / servicing of the equipment
Some of the equipment have been in bad shape for months without repair

Our gym teams do undertake regular maintenance checks and work hard with our equipment providers to ensure that our equipment is fixed as soon as possible, if any should become broken. We are equally as disappointed when this happens and sometimes need to wait on engineers but will have equipment in working order as soon as is safely possible. If you do have any concerns about the equipment, please notify staff on site as soon as you can.

Mixed experience
Really good sized gym and very well equipped. Unfortunately finding wheights / kettle bells / dumbbells 💪 s a real problem. It seems poeple don’t feel the need to return their equipment after use. These pieces of equipment seem to be spread out all around the gym which I find very selfish and disrespectful to other gym users. In this score I am pretty disappointed tbh. I will
Give the gym my best shot but may have to find an alternative.

Cancelling membership
When I used the gym it was okay, however trying to cancel you have to submit a request to do this and don’t have to freedom to just cancel? Really struggle to understand this and the brand is definitely just after the money, if you’re looking for a simple to use gym definitely would not recommend JD.

Lots of equipment, bit hot and expensive
The gym is fine with lots of equipment but it is a bit hot. The air con doesnt seem to be on and the heating is on. The equipment is old. It feels expensive in comparison to glo gym where I have moved from.

Gym stinks
Gym stinks, overrun & they locked my bag and van keys in changing rooms with no warning had to sleep in a hotel for the night as was working away at the time. Lucky there was no medication in there that I needed.
