Projector only partially fixed, no refund of any kind.

While I appreciate Dalton's quick communication, I clearly explained the issues we were having with our projector after purchasing a lamp from Jaspertronics. The projector was lighting up, but it was overheating and the image was clearly discoloring and deforming before the projector shut off. I explained, through email that those two things were happening. He said that I should ship it over to be assessed and repaired. He told me that it was probably that it just needed a deep clean. On multiple occasions through the process, I had to initiate communication on if the package was received, if they had tested it, and if he had completed testing/fixed the problem. Each time, he was apologetic and said he was working on it. It felt as if I was initiating the process. He confirmed that it just needed a deep clean, so he cleaned it internally, said he tested it, it was functioning, and would send it back. We eventually got it back, and while it was no longer overheating, we still were experiencing discoloration and color banding on the image of the projector. When I brought this to his attention, he said that through "8 hours of testing" he never saw this kind of discoloration. I'm under the impression that he ran the projector for that long to see if it worked and didn't overheat, but never actually looked at the image. He then told me that that was a separate issue with the machine, and all he could offer was free shipping to take it back, and then I'd have to pay for a new part to fix that new issue. I don't trust sending it back. I would not recommend using this service or purchasing anything. Wish I would have had a better experience as Dalton was kind in the process, but does not seem to be competent in business, especially after reading many other reviews like this one.

Warranty is a joke

I bought a projector bulb and it had a 90 day warranty. It went out after two weeks. They wanted photos, videos and made it almost impossible to get a replacement for a clearly defective product. I sent several emails with photos. I would not recommend this company. Live and learn! I

Knew exactly what I was looking for

Knew exactly what I was looking for, found it and sent me an invoice for approval.
Once approved, the order was in the mail that day and arrived 4 days before it was needed.

Failed products & They Do Everything Possible to Get Out of Being Responsible for Their Failed Products

Do not buy from this company. They are not helpful, they’re accusatory to customers, and their products fail quickly. Purchased a projector lamp with housing from them in June. After about two months our projector showed it needed replaced. Contacted them and was written off that it was the projectors timer and not the lamp. Month and a half later the lamp went completely out and failed. Contacted Jaspertronics again with photos of the failed lamp. They then asked to provide more photos, which I did of all sides of the lamp and housing.
Then after that they tried saying they couldn’t find the order from my username.
Then after I told them I had changed my username (I only have one eBay account) they tried saying I needed to contact them from the eBay account I purchased the item from. When I told them this is the same account, the username is changed, they told me I was messaging them from their main item listing and not the actual purchase listing and “anyone can do that” which was false.
I was going into the previous purchase itself (on the one and only account) to contact them.
Then when I went as far as providing my old eBay username, they then said it was out of the 90 day window and they couldn’t help me despite telling them I contacted them in August.
They brushed me off again and said it was just the timer in August.
I highly recommend reading all of the reviews because there are other customers who have had the same issues with this company.

AMAZING PRICES AND ABOVE AND BEYOND…

AMAZING PRICES AND ABOVE AND BEYOND CUSTOMER SERVICE!

Seriously, I was in a real pickle. Our projector burned out right before a huge performance we needed it for.

I got on the phone with Trenton and it was as if I hired a personal concierge to guide me through the troubleshooting and installation.

They next day delivered the lamps and filters and Trenton even helped when we were getting an error! He didn't need to but he did anyways. He downloaded the manual and helped me scour it until we solved the problem.

Why can't every business have people like Trenton? That's what I wanna know!

Best solution for projector lamps!

We've used Jaspertronics for some unique projector lamps at very competitive prices. None of the lamps have failed. Shipping is always very quick, and communication is great.

Good customer service

The first lamp came defective. However, Jaspertronics sent a good replacement as soon as I provided the required information and photos. Costumer service is excellent.
