Delivery was quick and the price was affordable. Overall to anyone who is travelling to Japan the JR Pass is very convenient and enables travellers to view and visit various locations without having to spend too much on travel. The bullet train is also quicker than other means of transport.

Money well spent. JR Pass allowed us to travel on buses JR subway trains and the bullet train. Services were frequent and having a pass made it easy to transition from one form of transport to another. Definitely worth the money

I think it is the most economical way of interstate traveling in Japan as a Tourist or on a short stay if you are planning to go from one state to another, for example, Tokyo to Kyoto and return or Tokyo to Osaka to Kyoto back to Tokyo. etc. There are instances that the JR Pass can be used to travel locally.

It was very expensive and we really were only able to use it on 2 occasions. We didn’t feel it was very good value for money however the process was simple and efficient.

Excellent value and really easy to use. We bought a 14 days pass and easily got twice as much value out of it with all the travelling we did.

The pass was a fantastic addition to our Japanese holiday , particularly every person at the ticket window gave great advice and spoke great English ! If you are touring japan it I’d great value , and it basically covers all of Tokyo too

A JR pass is almost indispensable for a trip around Japan. Easy to use, offers great savings against booking trip by trip and as always with railways in Japan, smooth, efficient and reliable.

We found the JR pass a fantastic; cost effective way of getting around Japan. It is great that it can also be used to travel locally on JR lines and ferries as well as on long journeys. Really easy to use.

The rail pass was great and easy to use. However, exchanging the order for the actual pass was hard work. It’d be nice, since this is only for travellers if there was at least one English speaking person to assist. I went to many counters and was treated poorly by many. Considering I paid a lot for the privilege was disappointing.

Japan Rail Pass provides reliable and cost effective transportation for visitors to Japan. Using the pass for a few trips usually saves the cost of the pass itself and if you tour around like we did for two weeks, the savings are significant! JR trains are legendary for their frequency, punctuality and cleanliness but be prepared to cram in during busy times. Feeling overwhelmed? (e.g. in Tokyo station during peak hours) - ask the friendly JR staff. Riding on the Shinkansen service is an experience in itself. Tokyo to Hiroshima in about half a day. JR Pass is a wonderful means of accessing this amazing country.

It’s a great pass to have, especially if you are travelling all over Japan to many places however be aware that u will still need the local Suica (local metro) pass for anything outside the JR main lines

The rail pass was well used and very convenient. We went in and out of JR stations with ease, reserved seats and had a great time. It certainly was a no fuss way to travel

There was a long waiting and cue at the arrival of the airport to validate the pass, and the staff were misleading and unhelpful and poor English communication

No issues at all, everything went seamlessly from purchase to swapping to a pass in Japan.
