I have given 4 stars as I was a little disappointed with communication! I had a level 2 survey done on 15th May, I emailed 3 times asking how long we would be expected to wait! I did not receive 1 reply which I found disappointing and unprofessional.
I received my survey today 6th June which in all fairness was a good detailed report on my property purchase.
We waited 3 weeks so you may see why I emailed 3 times just to get some sort of time scale.

Scott prepared a schedule of condition for my lease.

Very personalised service, great communication throughout.

Poor communication. Was told the survey was pencilled in for a particular day subject to availability. Didn't hear anything back so I later wrongly assumed that the survey had taken place on that date. I later asked for an update, no reply for a few days. Found out from Estate Agent that the survey took place a week after that date the surveyor company gave me which I found odd as the surveyor himself hadn't told me that. I messaged James Scott associates who said the report would be with me the next morning. He did not give me an explanation nor an apology which I thought was odd. Next day no report sent. I messaged James Scott associates again. Told it would be with me the next day. This time with a brief apology.

I was sent the report the next day. There were a few exerts that were identical in places.

We had a level 2
Survey done. Good communication through both social media accounts and email.Thorough report received.
Good service.

James Scott Associates carried out a level 3 building survey using the latest equipment including drone footage which was very impressive, we couldn’t recommend them highly enough and will be using them again in the future

Carried out a dilapidation survey to one of our commercial properties and provided a schedule of condition together with rectification proposals and costings . Very professional with excellent report and advice. Highly recommended
