My wife and I booked in for a 3 day pre- season “boot camp”, as we both felt we were playing too much and not focusing on the right things. Tom was fantastic at analysing our swings and then giving us fixes to work on, whilst not altering our natural swings. It’s definitely working. Thank you Tom and James for making us feel so welcome, we will be back one day when we need another top up! BTW shout out to The Crown in S-B-N, an outstanding place to stay only 5 mins down the road.

I went to James Andrews Golf School only 10 months after I had started learning golf. The experience was amazing, and I wish I had known about the school even earlier on in my golfing journey. I loved the focus on swing fundamentals, the clarity with which our teacher (Joe) explained the different elements of the swing, and the final trackman analysis which is my go-to whenever I slip back into my old habits. I'll definitely be back.

Really enjoyable and beneficial experience with Joe. He did a great job of managing the different requirements within the group, tailoring his advice to suit. The 3 days really helped the lessons to sink in, allowing for a good amount of feedback, as I progressed. A very comfortable and welcoming environment also, I liked the group dynamic and enjoyed getting out on the course with the others, after the lessons. Definitely would recommend.

Superb instructor in Joe Queen who taught us in an intentionally small group of 3 and who took great care and interest in skillfully covering all aspects of the game. Great follow up with video and detailed commentary.
The hotel and food was good and I wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Great value for the money.

I first attended a James Andrews Golf School session many years ago when they were located at Seddlescombe. Was overjoyed to find them again as my golf needed some serious attention! A 3 day session with Joe was just the answer - huge focus on swing, strike and finish. But that was not just it - much attention also on understanding the process and not only the outcome.

Really enjoyable and informative three days. The instructor, Tom, was very clear in his analysis, and we repeated the different swings etc over the three days, which made it easier to remember the main points.
It was all very relaxed and has set me up for the winter. Would highly recommend the school.

The entire 2 day experience and training was exceptional. Intimate 4 person beginner group and must say Tom’s patience and knowledge transfer was second to none. Tom’s coaching throughout the 2 days was extremely professional and props to him for making everything so digestible. The video analysis in the studio was incredibly valuable in breaking down and unlearning bad habits. Cannot recommend enough for any beginner.

Great way to learn we did the three day course Tom was great at making you feel relaxed and the course was very informative and enjoyable. He covered all the aspects of my game that I needed help with in a simple and straightforward way . The hotel and food were very good and the two 18 hole courses were challenging but really helped putting what we learnt in toms lessons into practice everyday . Would highly recommend

Tom’s approach was thorough with explanation of the mechanics which often helps. I loved every minute of the three day program. I am much more confident and hope to reduce my handicap soon.

I recently completed the “3 day Intermediate course” and now wished I seen this before. A great course, which opened my eyes to some things that I‘d never been shown or taught before. Joe, our instructor for the 3 days, was very knowledgeable, and had a great way of passing on this information. Good analysis with the video, as we could see our progress throughout. The Constable and Gainsborough golf courses were both challenging and enjoyable, but very hilly, so I would recommend hiring a buggy (for both courses). The hotel attached was great too, with excellent facilities. I stuck to the Sports bar and the food there was very tasty with plenty of options. I would definitely recommend James Andrews Golf School to anyone that was thinking about tuition.

A great birthday present from my wife. Tom was my instructor for the intermediate 3 day course. We were taught in a group of 4. This course surpassed my expectation and was worth every penny. The course is so well structured and I now feel that I have a repeatable swing process and better understanding of the body’s mechanics n relation to transfer of power to the ball. Tom was fantastic and I will definitely return despite a four hour journey, that’s how good the course and instructors are. Brilliant!

Joe welcomed us at the start of our 3 day journey and began to help us understand and change swings for big improvements. Everything was thorough and methodical and followed up with video analysis of swing preparation and routines. The hotel stay worked well and was very convenient. We were very happy with our time and are very thankful to Joe for his patience and clarity.

Superb golf school. The quality of tuition from Tom was truly excellent. For myself, a beginner, he was able to communicate and break down the technical fundamentals of the golf swing in a way that made complete sense and taught a variety of helpful drills. Wide range covered over the 3 days including grip, half to full swing, chipping, putting, bunker play, aim, distance control and approach to different lies. Played my first two 18 hole rounds on the last 2 afternoons. Very pleased with skills gained and improvement over the 3 days. More importantly going away with tools to continue to develop a consistent and technically sound swing. Very enjoyable, highly recommend!

The quality of coach (Joe in my case) is very high. A great blend of technical knowledge, intuition and ability to communicate. I left with an understanding of what I should be doing and why, the course was a huge help in helping me enjoy my golf much more.

The "Hype", of the standard of instruction offered by this academy, is well deserved. The tuition lives up to the school mantra, "beginner to golfer in 2 days" Tom, my instructor is excellent, patient , knowledgeable and a thoroughly nice chap. Hotel accommodation was excellent and the staff superb. Food in both restaurant and sports bar was excellent. I could find no fault with either accommodation of tuition. Only blip was the £40 for a golf cart...just a bit excessive compared to like for like prices...

Excellent instruction on the fundamentals of a repeatable golf swing. A three-day residential course can achieve so much more than a series of 30 minute lessons! The facilities are very good, and the patient, clear, and thorough guidance by our teacher, Joe, was superb.

Had a great 3 days at the golf school with Joe as the coach. Finally understood how to hit a golf ball properly. Excellent tuition on the fundamentals of a good golf swing, with a structured approach over 3 days to achieve this. Have come away with lots of drills to reinforce this learning. Highly recommend the course.

My wife and I went on the two day advanced course hosted by Joe. We were a group of 4 with handicaps ranging from 8 to 19. We all had an assessment of our current swings on Trackman and then Joe went through the data and convinced us that all of us were lacking in consistency of strike, from attack angle where we hit on clubface etc.
We all agreed that our path to better golf was to achieve a consistency of strike.
Joe then went through the different elements of the golf swing explaining WHY we needed to do each element and what goes wrong if we don't. He then had a series of drills to get us to master the HOW for each element with critical points to focus on. There were further explanations on power sources and other very informative tips as we went through the drills. Explanations were very logical and understandable throughout. When we got to putting it all together for the full swing he said "All I need from you is one good shot and you'll be convinced" I did and I was. We received a video of the before and after with explanations of what we were doing right and where we needed to keep a focus on. Something to refer back to in the future.
Thoroughly informative and enjoyable experience which I would highly recommend if you want to improve your golf.

I have visited the James Andrew Golf School a number of times over the last 3 years. My last visit was to the advanced school with Joe leading the group. The course was excellent and well structured.
My swing has improved over my visits to the school. I find the longer format of 2 to 3 days allows me to fully embed the learning. I have a had a number of light bulb moments and now feel I more understand the swing and consequently what I am trying to achieve.
