Bad experience.

Products arrived quickly but on opening they were inedible. Contacted seller who didn’t issue replacement or refund (offered voucher which didn’t cover the cost of the product or even shipping for a new order).
Very disappointed and would advise caution dealing with this company.

Further more, on reading the reply from the seller, I have to stress that no refund was offered as they wanted me to return one of the other items at my own expense (which would have cancelled out any money they returned...if we can believe they would?!?) and also PayPal only decided the items arrived but has no mechanisms to deal with inedible food stuffs.

I would suggest extreme caution dealing with a company who will not solve a problem with your order should you decide to order them and encounter one. BUYERS BEWARE!!!

We don't want to write anything subjective, we have lost enough time; we will just describe facts in an objective way:

2 April The customer purchases two jars of Bolete mushrooms packed in olive oil: one of normal bolete mushrooms, one of pine Bolete mushrooms. The customers also pays the shipping fee.

3 April We ship the order to Portugal

8 April 4.45 pm The order is delivered (signed and shipped by DHL)
5.14 pm 29 minutes after delivery, the customer sends us a detailed e-mail where he explains that he is an expert and that he has opened a jar and realised that the mushrooms are not good
Unknown time The customers opens a dispute on Paypal

9 April We write to the client, telling him to let us know which one of the two jars appeared to present problems
The customer writes that probably there was one bad mushroom in the jar, maybe. He demands a refund or another shipping. He attaches a picture with the mushroom jar looking absolutely normal.
We reply to the client that we cannot refund the whole order just because "maybe one mushroom" was not good.
We offer to exceptionally give him a €20.00 credit for future purchases, since he did not enjoy the product he selected. (We sell tenths of jars like this per month and people are extremely satisfied with them).

10 April The customer replies saying that he does not accept the offer and demands to either be refunded or that a further shipping be sent to him.
We reply saying that if he will send us back the second intact jar (which was not contested), we will refund that one.

11 April Paypal confirms that they resolved the dispute in Italy Bite's favour
The customer writes the hereinabove review.
