Good Morning,

When I entered the Istore and spoke to the person that approached me, the first thing I said was about replacing my IPad. I dont go round carrying the Box which my IPad came in.
It was a reconditioned ipad when I bought it. Plus at that time you couldnt use word to do documents . Since and all updates it is now possible to do so.
I know how long it takes to charge the ipad I have and it certainly isnt up to standard rate.
I have spoken to Apple. They werent very pleased to hear a sale hadnt been looked into. Infact they remembered me from when I purchased the ipad I have as there were some problems which only they could sort out.
I sharent be coming back to the IStore in tunbridge wells. Every time I come there I get negative treatment. If this is due the staff been spoken to by Shaun Wolfe ( who I have major situation with ) then I feel very sorry they take notice.

Sorry but we have no idea who Shaun Wolfe is. This is your second review being about the same situation, we feel it’s a little unfair towards the staff who simply explained that if you wanted to replace your iPad just because the battery isn’t working as expected, it was not necessary as it functions as expected.

We’re always here to offer honest advice, and we didn’t want to push a sale if it wasn’t in the best interest of your needs. Had you made it clear that you wanted to upgrade regardless, we would of course have supported you.

Staff were friendly, helpful and generally well informed about hardware. (The manager also dealt skilfully with my mistaken call complaining that I had been delivered the wrong iMac.)
It is a little bit unfair to expect staff to be knowledgeable about software but as ‘Logic Pro’ is an Apple program I feel that they should have been able to answer my questions- and admitted they couldn’t.
More seriously, no mention was made about charging my new iPad Pro and I had to return to the store to purchase a charging plug.

I needed to purchase a new Mac laptop…

I needed to purchase a new Mac laptop and the assistants at the store were very knowledgeable and helpful with finding the right machine for me. They were patient when my bank had a bit of a hiccup with my online payment, and were nothing but helpful at all times. I am pleased with the new Mac I have bought, it is just right for my needs.

Absolutely shocking in Guildford

Absolutely shocking in Guildford. The girl on desk was rude and unhelpful. Told me I had to pay £25 for my new iPhone to be reset. Money grabbing pirates. Apple find a new support partner as istore try to rob you on new products which are under warranty.

We’ve reviewed the interaction and found no evidence of any rudeness or unhelpful behaviour from our staff. Our technician first attempted a forced restart, free of charge, to resolve the issue before advising that a full restore might be needed. We explained that the service fee would only apply if the restore was successful in resolving the problem — this is standard for in-depth technical support, even with newer devices.

That said, we acknowledge that more consideration could have been given to the fact your iPhone was only a week old. In hindsight, we agree the charge could have been waived to support a smoother experience.

Great service from the guy at your…

Great service from the guy at your Chelmsford store. He was attentive and explained that Apple didn’t replace batteries for iPhone 7’s now. So I had a look at the 16e, which although looked bulky compared to my 7 would see me to an acceptable phone as my current one had battery problems and would only last less than an hour before I had to recharge it from almost flat. He ordered my new phone and said it would take up to 2 days, but I received an email the following morning saying it was available. Great service. Thank you!
