Terrible service. The returns portal does not recognise my details to send back some items, so I can’t make a return.
I contacted them via email on Friday 1st Dec, got an email back on Wednesday 6th Dec telling me to use the online chat and if I wasn’t able to send my issue / details and they would respond. I was at work and unable to go on the chat so sent my issue it’s it now Monday 11th Dec and I have heard nothing back?!
I tried the online chat on Sunday 10th Dec and just kept getting kicked off, I then got a message saying they were busy and to email then?! I can’t win, the email is saying to use the chat and the chat is saying to use email?! I also searched for a telephone number which I called and is no longer available.
I want to return my items and be refunded.

Awful customer service took way too long to get back to me. There is a chat option on the website that doesn’t work. And also no contact number. I had to go through Klarna to get response back.

I placed an order before 10pm for next working day delivery, I didnt receive any confirmation emails so the next morning I went onto live chat to see where my order was, it took me from 8.30am till 13.05 to get through to an agent called Luke. He said he had spoken to a supervisor and my parcel was “missed” last night. So he will get it shipped today for next day delivery. I then asked if I could have my shipped refunded due to this mistake there end, he said they cannot do this but could offer me 15% off my next order!

Very disappointed. First time I ordered from In the Style. Ordered a Stacey Solomon dress for my niece for Christmas. Got confirmation of order, but a week later received an email to say I’d been refunded. Nothing about that fact that couldn’t fulfil order, no response via email. Really disappointing all round!

You will easily be enticed to order from here; many 'influencers' plugging their collections on Social Media everyday of the week but beware. They will always tell you the quality is so good.....it is not. Everything is cheap and falls apart.
Returns are a nightmare. They have a very strict 14 day return window and no extension for Christmas gifts. So, if you order and it doesn't fit someone at Christmas that is tough luck. They will not refund after the 14 days under any circumstances but are not forthcoming with this information. Also, they charge an admin fee of £2.50 for every order returned. Not sure how they still get away with this.
The prices on this used to be cheap that's why people ordered but they are creeping up and now you have items priced higher than most high street stores and you still get a charge for returning and extremely short returns window.
Customer service is shocking, they don't care when you give any feedback.
Do not waste your money here. I think all the 1 star reviews speak for themselves.

I wish I had read reviews before I ordered anything. I ordered and paid for an item and have just received a totally different item I have been told on live chat I have to return the item before they will dispatch anything. I paid for next day delivery so I now have to take time out to return something I didn’t order before they will send me anything. It doesn’t make sense.

I’ve left email after email with my contact details for someone to come back to me, I’ve tried to contact someone on their live chat numerous times only to be told everytime all operators are busy.
What a disgrace in the current climate and with the cost of living for people to put trust in this company and for money to be taken and no items received. Absolutely shocking.
Return of item
I started my return on day 13 of their return window and didn’t receive the QR code for the IN POST and when I asked for help to retrieve this a couple days later as it still hadn’t come through, they wasn’t interested and said I was out of my return window and they will not accept my return. Really disappointed as I’ve always loved ITS and fully support them and have always returned any items easily and this one time which wasn’t a fault of my own and they’re not willing to help. I’m quite disappointed to be honest.

I have never before wrote a bad review about a clothing company but I am so disappointed with in the style.
I have ordered twice from the company and both times the items looking nothing like they do on the models. The balloon sleeves are way larger than seen in photos and the knit dress is way baggier and none are good quality. I thought I would give them another chance and both times it’s been absolute disappointment. I am also annoyed that after paying two lots of postage I have then had to also pay for two lots of return fees.
Honestly, shop anywhere else because they are nowhere the quality they’re made out to be. They should remove the postage and return fees to enable people to find out for themselves on the quality without having to incur an unfortunate fee.

They are refusing to let me return a dress with all tags attached, never worn, completely new that does not fit me, just because my husband has thrown the plastic it came with by mistake. Nowhere on their policy it says the returned item needs to come in the original plastic bag. I do not want to keep a dress that does not fit me and makes me lose 100 pounds

Absolutely awful company. Do not buy with them if you have any intention of returning. Waiting over a month to get a refund after my order arrived and the quality was poor. Customer services are shocking - well the people that talk to you via the chat function. Was told that it takes 14 days to receive a notification from them and up to 21 days to then get your money. A five week lead time to return items and then have the cheek to charge a ‘handling fee’. The customer service person thought it was funny that I have to wait 5 weeks as she said ‘well that’s just policy - not my concern’. Lovely! It’s a vile company that uses cheap materials and doesn’t invest in a slick returns process or well trained staff. Ordered against my better judgement and learnt my lesson. Avoid avoid avoid going forward.

After ordering a couple of items, I decided to pay for premium delivery, however my recent orders have taken a week each to arrive. I’ve been trying to get a resolution with customer services for the last two weeks, and keep getting told they’ll speak to IT about it and get back to me within 24 hours. It’s been two weeks and still no response! The live chat option is poor, each time the person has just left the chat without saying anything, before I have finished speaking to them, and with zero acknowledgment. In addition, you only have 14 days to return an order from purchase, if it takes over a week to arrive it’s risky that it can even be returned. As other people have said, charging to return an item is pretty rubbish, and refunds will take up to 14 days, despite being able to take your money instantly. It’s a real shame, because I like the clothes and I like the people they collaborate with

returned a faulty bikini top - was made to pay £2.50 as their returns process is an absolute joke, said they would send another top, didn't refunded instead - now have bottoms that are useless without a top, CS is non existent & rude, they gave a refund of postage as a good will gesture - what goodwill you sold faulty goods
