It's hell dealing with them, they no longer have a phone service, yet continue to advertise telephone numbers to call agents. Please remove the Belgian number as it's nil and void! The UK number you can't get an answer at all.
Trying to transfer a domain from one person to another, the transfer has been done yet it's still in my dashboard wanting me to pay for renewals.
Customer service is the worst. It's either a bot or an agent who types into a chat box and can't assist with my questions. Tells me to email. I email and it takes weeks to get a response and not the response which can help. Awful service
Complete Garbage. Call support and go on hold for 2 hours only to be hung up on when they pickup - no call back. 2 hours!!! They clearly only have one guy in dungeon under the building handling their support calls.

I have had the worst experience with this service provider. The registered address listed on their website is incorrect, and there is no physical office at the location.
I have been trying to renew a domain originally registered in 2011, but for over two months, I have not been able to reach anyone. The contact number provided (in Singapore) is no longer in service, and there is no alternative way to speak with a real person.
This is my personal experience, and I strongly advise:
Do NOT engage with INSTRA. You will only end up frustrated.
Not fit to be hosting domain names. Irresponsible handling and los of URLs to other parties due to negligence on their side.
Do not believe their positive reviews I am sure they bought most of them as anyway will quickly find out that the service is absolute horrific.
Horrible service - my domain name was expired but got a notification that it was paid. Turned out it was the hosting connected to the domain name. Two seperate things and can be indepedently extended which is weird as why would you have a hosting extended without the connected url domain ?
So now the domain name was in quaranteen -- no problem that is the time you can ask them to get it back for you.
A weird system because it is basically nowhere. Not online available not extendable within their account.
Have to go through customer service.... and that is where things turn to shit.
Waiting forever for a reply - then when I got a reply it was a reply i could not work with and did not provide a solution. When asking what they mean I never got a reply again.
So I turned again to customer service on the chat - again from the beginning had to wait again 3 or 4 days -- it looked more promissing she said yes we can get it back for you sales will contact you to set it all up, no worries....
Time is ticking ofcourse after one week still nothing...
Quaranteen time was about to expire meaning the domain would be up for grabs - since we operate a known business most of these domains will be used for backlinking or hijacked with porn to get money from you.
I contacted again customer service - she checked "Anna-Yuliia" told me to hold on ... then told me she would get back to me...
Ofcourse they got back after the quaranteen ended with the message the domain name is not anymore with them and has been registered by someone else.
Seriously what the F*****
After that no one contacted me again send them over and over emails demanding them to fix it as they literally promised to handle it.
I considering to file a case for negligence as the URL is being used for backlinking competitors on EUIPO protected name.
This is beyound irresponsible from a service that should handle your url with care.
My advice is to seek domain hosting elsewhere as it is not safe here - when there is a problem they leave you hanging.
I will move all my domain names away, not that they care but the least i can do.
Hope others will follow there are better registrants then these bunch of lazy thugs.
Don't believe their website: "Instra Corporation is dedicated in providing you with breakthrough customer service. We always aim to provide you with the best possible customer service experience."
They do no reply to emails to the support email address and are impossible to reach by phone - on hold forever.

I don't understand all the technical aspects and procedures to transfer or reassign my domain regisration to another hosting company. I had to get a web designer to take cake of it. I wasted a whole week's time. Although, the phone representative did explain what I needed to do, but to me it's just not understandable.

I rarely provide feedback, but this time I feel it is necessary. I recently purchased a domain from Instra.com and was extremely disappointed with how they treated their customers.
- After making the purchase and payment, my account was deleted from their system without any notification or reason. I am unable to log in.
- I was required to verify my identity and was asked for an ID or passport. This was a very complicated and lengthy process. I have never seen a registrar do this before.
- The email support was extremely rude and unhelpful.
It was a terrible experience.
Afterward, I switched to another registrar. They handled the registration with a fully automated process. Additionally, I received free email and SSL services.
