Great service - problems fixed

I contacted TPP with two technical problems. The phone was answered quickly and professionally. My first problem was dealt with straight away, but my second problem was a bit more complex and a ticket was lodged so they could investigate it further. Within a couple of days I had the solution to this problem also. Great service!

I had an email problem

I had an email problem, and you know how critical it is for business. The problem occurred before so I got on to LiveChat and gave support (Michelle) an old fault ticket and Michelle followed it up for me. The problem was resolved quickly the next day. The previous situation took a week to troubleshoot and resolve as it was a new problem. Having LiveChat makes a big difference as it gave me direct access to support and hands-on to the problem. I am a TPP reseller makes it even more critical.

10pm at night I had proper tech support

I had what I figured was a reasonable complex question at 10pm regarding database automation and permission in the creation of schedule event. I didn't get passed around, the person who took my 'chat' was able to answer me quickly.

I was frustrated as a client

I was frustrated as a client, with what was happening. Whilst Jolina answered correctly using basic response, I pushed to get more, because of the error I was getting.

She worked out what was wrong (domain was not in the registry I was being told) using whois....

Kudos to her - well done.

Incorrect information supplied

Was informed that the domain was with Netregistry
Spent an hour on support with netregistry to tell me no its with TPP (which we believe to be the case originally)
We have opened another ticket to urgently get resolved

Honestly one of the worst companies I…

Honestly TPP is one of the worst companies I have ever dealt with. The customer service is horrible. I have had the same conversation with multiple people from their support team and each contradicts each other, not to mention you have to repeat yourself about 100 times. We decided to move all of our services to another provider because they're so difficult to deal with.

@Adam, I have emailed you five years of email communication from TPP Support, which you conveniently cant see at your end? Ive also sent you copies of the actual email communication.

Communication via Live Chat with Keven…

Communication via Live Chat with Keven was prompt and I was told the fix to my problem would take approximately 10 minutes to propagate however the next morning the problem still existed. I raised a support ticket through tpp’s web site and it threw some errors during submission so I wasn’t confident that my issue would be heard. The issue was resolved promptly by Keven but no explanation about why it took a tpp staff member to do a task that I should be able to do through he console (I was trying to update domain name contact details). Also, no explanation about why the details were wrong in the first place. The person registered as the admin contact has never worked for our company and no one had ever heard of them. The support ticket system still shows an error when I try to view past tickets.

Jayvee was a great help, understood our issue and request, he immediately Identified the issue took action, fixed it gave us the steps we need to do from our end, he went beyond that in creating the invoices for the client to pay for the late renewal and gave us guidance how to add new domain which was the additional issue, on the other hand, we spent 40 Min with another person and we got no where.

I have I have been a reseller of Domains since 2006 since…

I have been a reseller of Domains since 2006 with Planet Domain which was then taken over by TPP Wholesale (maybe around 2012). I have continued to be a reseller for TPP and have enjoyed a good relationship with the various teams over the years. The new leadership and direction of the company does in my opinion so far appear to be on track and even leading the industry in some area's. I highly recommend TPP Wholesale to any Domain & Hosting resellers.

Excellent Service and Timely Resolution

We have been with TPP since the beginning, and they have always resolved our requests in a timely manner. I have to disagree with many of the negative reviews out there.

JayVee is a LEGEND

Issue resolved as much as current system allows.

I'd love to request an upgrade so that redirects have httpS as the default and/or we can choose between http and https.
And also that we can have a redirect with www while cloaking is enabled.

When I found out that the cloud service…

When I found out that the cloud service was being discontinued I was simply going to move to another provider. Khalid took the time to find out what I was trying to achieve and helped me understand that cpanel would handle everything I needed. It was a little more than I was planning to spend but now I know it is way better value. Khalid really made me remember why I used TPP. You guys really do have excellent customer service. Top opperator ten outta ten.

Unable to transfer domain

I was trying to transfer some domains from one TPP account to another but kept getting an error. Jumped on the chat, waited about a minute, issue was sorted efficeintly by Maricel who moved the domains across.
