Just wanted to share my experience ordering a car from you on 29.09.2023, and it's been pretty frustrating.

I was promised my car in 3-4 weeks, but it's been 7 weeks now with no sign of it. 😕 The waiting game is getting old.

And about that free one-month insurance you offered? Well, it's about to expire in a few days, and I still don't have the car. Not cool!

I've tried reaching out for updates, but all I get are these generic, template emails. Where's the personal touch?

I get delays happen, but communication is key. It's a bummer not knowing what's going on with my order.

Just sharing my experience here so others know what they might be in for.

I highly recommend InstaMotion especially for those who are new to German system , also the idea of selecting the cars from anywhere in Germany will help to have more options sitting in your home.
I got my Skoda Scala and i am very happy with my purchase. Only thing i would like Instamotion to improve is to provide necessary updates on the status when it gets delayed but the customer response was good , no problem.

The whole process was smooth. The waiting time was as mentioned.

This is now my second car from Instamotion and I am super satisfied. Both processes worked perfectly and I had the cars with me for less than a month.

We booked a car and as the application status states that someone from Instamotion would call us on our application, but no one called, apparently we did all the follow-up.
Eventually it came out that the car is sold out even after reserving it twice.
I am not super good with German therefore I was replying on their English support (option 3) but it seems that even after waiting on line for 30 mins plenty of times, still no one picks the line.
They didnt show courtesy to tell us that the car we have reserved is sold out.

Instamotion presents itself as with sentences like "We do the registration", "We deliver your car", etc., however, all of these steps are carried out by other firms and instamotion simply outsources these steps. This could have been no issue if everything went smoothly, however, that was not my experience. After I made the purchase decision and sent the money, it took the insurance company several days to send me the insurance number which I needed to provide the car registration company with. To this company, by the way, one has to send documents per post, which I could not do at that moment because I was at a work trip. By the way, the required documents included my PASSPORT ORIGINAL, which came close to interfering with my travel plans. Finally, the delivery was not only late but also at an indefinite point in the future and my inquires to Instamotion were responded by ambiguous sentences such as "this process might take a few days". In the end, I had to buy last-minute train tickets for a trip where I was planning to go by car. When the car was ready for delivery, I already had another trip abroad, which meant that 3/4 of the first-month insurance was wasted. All in all, I did not feel that I received any value for the money I spent for instamotion's services and I found the company's representation of itself misleading.

I am very satisfied with the process except for the approval, which took a little longer.

Buying a car was easy and convenient from home, the employees were all very friendly and helped very well with every request.
I can recommend to everyone!

You are urged to make quick decisions on the phone. I had the case that they made a mistake themselves because they forgot that they could not deliver my electric car on their own axis. On the phone you are urged that there is no other option than to pay 1000 euros more for a delivery and graciously pay only 200 euros of it. Since I was dependent on it, I agreed on the phone and then found out afterwards that everything was delayed. So there were only disadvantages for me and on the phone you are put off by any employees. Never in my life would I buy a car again, you feel absolutely ripped off.

Everything went as expected, my sales personnel (Gilbert) was of tremendous assistance. Especially since my German is not that good and I’m new to the traffic and road regulations, I had a lot of questions and clarifications. However my sales contact was very patient to reply all of them even at late nights and weekends due to my busy schedule. The process is transparent and just as explained on the ads. To be honest, getting your ride in 2 weeks could be a little ambitious due to vehicle registration and the back and forth with sending documents over but it wouldn’t take that long till you drive your dream car. I would recommend again and again.

It was my first time to buy a car directly online. It was working well. Instamotion colleague answered me actively even if I had many questions. The vehicle is delivered very clean and with good condition. I'm enjoying to drive my car now!

From finding the listing on internet to having keys in my hands, everything went more or less smoothly. Process is pretty straightforward and instamotion team makes sure you are taken care of. I would definitely recommend their services.
