Really inspirational.

Inspiring and informative. Ricky offered some valuable life lessons alongside a real adventure story and the ultimate mantra of never giving up or being afraid of making the right choice for you. Both myself and my 10yr old loved hearing about how Ricky overcame his obstacles and the importance of grasping opportunities as they come. Some excellent advice for the more serious climbers as well as any wide eyed 10yr olds 😃 at the friendly Q&A session at the end too. Have recommended to all. Thank you Inspire Alpine, we think what you’re doing is so important and I’m certain, life changing for so many young people. Keep going!

I loved the webinar and listening to Ricky’s commitment to triumph with his goals.

Would have liked in the first seminar, that a clearer link with Ricky’s perseverance and ability to overcome the demons that can sabotage efforts, and what tools he used.
Ricky reaches out when he needs to (or it seems so) - a lot of people are not able to do it so perhaps his encouragement is important for them.

From a council estate in Glasgow to the summit of Everest, the worlds highest mountain, and the development of Inspire Alpines Social Enterprise, Ricky,s story is well worth listening too. If you get the opportunity, either through your organisation, school or as an individual, as I did, I thoroughly recommend it and you to could "Follow your Dreams".

Had the most amazing unforgettable experience ever! Inspire were extremely helpful from the outset ensuring I had everything I needed for the trip, answered all my questions and concerns. It was my first time in many respects, never hiked before or slept in a tent and I was most pleasantly surprised. The team that supported us on the trek for the whole week were super, couldn’t have asked for anything more and wouldn’t have changed a thing.

So thankful and grateful for making my experience so enjoyable!

It was great to be part of this extremely well run and successful trip to Kilimanjaro. Inspire Alpine kept us informed in the run up to our departure issuing detailed briefings and offering assistance on kit selection. On the trek we were looked after very well every day following our predetermined plan that ultimately lead to everyone in the group reaching the summit. If you are planning a trek or charity challenge in the UK or overseas I would thoroughly recommend Ricky and the team.

I have just finished the Kilimanjaro trip with Inspire Alpine and couldn’t rate it highly enough. It was an amazing experience from start to finish. Having not met the group before, the comradery you experience throughout the trip was fantastic and it really helped when you needed it. The guides and the porters of Ashante Tours were great, the guides very knowledgeable and the porters always there to help – the support they give really is underrated. Ricky took every care to monitor our heart and oxygen levels to make sure we were fit enough to continue each day and always there to answer questions (I had many… daily!). Also, due to a health condition, Ricky made sure that on summit night the guides were fully aware should any assistance be required. A great trip, with a great bunch of people, it’s a must for your bucket list! Sad that it’s over…

The Guide was very helpful in explaining exactly what we need to take with us and tailored it to each specific Mountain (I.e. advising what clothes to wear based on the forecast at that time) whilst also continuously ensuring the forecast hadn't changed drastically.
We were never told what to do and when but were advised to think about whether to do Mountains based on injuries, weather, etc. Thanks Ricky and the team of guides who took us across the Mountains!

An amazing weekend climbing the National 3 Peaks with these guys. Ricky was fantastic at organising a great weekend for us. Everything was explained well during briefings of what to expect and what kit to take. We had excellent leaders take us up and in challeging conditions and personally gave me great support. Couldnt have done it without then all and Rickys fantastic driving efforts in the relentless rain that we had for the duration.

A great weekend completing the National 3 Peaks Challenge which was very well organised by Inspire Alpine. We didn't have to worry about any of the logistics involved in undertaking the challenge as this was all taken care of by Ricky. The 3 mountain guides we had for each mountain were brilliant - an extra special shout out to Mark who was so great on our final mountain in tough weather conditions. The team were also very informative and helpful about the whole experience both leading up to and during the event.

Ricky and his team are super friendly and caring. The logistics were completely taken care of and full support and information was provided. My only reason for not giving it a 5/5 was the vehicle itself. By that I mean the vehicle was safe and everything but to me it was old and maybe not adequate for the number of people. And needs to go faster than 62mph. But loved it and would love to get a chance to do it all over again
