Found it so easy to do my daughters first car insurance online and at a reasonable price for her first insurance I have recommended ingenie to others

Worst insurance company ever. Cancelled after 2 days because wasn’t aware of the black box even tho they say it’s clear to see I must of missed it as I was more focused on the price per month and the low deposit. Even tho they offer 14 day cancellation policy I was charged £35 for cancellation and then they had the cheek too charge me £50 for the 2 days cover and say this is correct even tho the monthly payment is only £77 they charge me £50 for 2 days and refuse to put a manager on the phone and say they can only be contacted via online chat which was a blatant lie as i tryed that before the call and was fobbed off stay well clear of this company who love to controle there customers by knowing there every move and the staff are so rude crap little company won’t survive treating people the way they do.

Simple so far and black box arrived in post and easy to fit.

How is my discount getting lower when my performance is increasing? I have all green except for yellow cornering and my discount when down when compared to previous week everything was yellow and yet still higher discount. If you drive a blackbox don't expect your discount to be paid fully.

Very help when talking to a lady on customer service. Loved it

Was with Ingenie in my first 2 years of driving (which was 3yrs ago), from 17 to 19yrs old. Brilliant for me because they allow a lot of leeway, didn’t penalise me for driving at night for my job at Asda where I would finish work at 11pm and get back home for 11:30/45pm, some of my mates who had black box insurance with other companies such as Direct Line for example, would have price spikes because they drove later at night. Also, a very good company for being realistic, they don’t penalise you heavily for silly things, they’re actually a customer centred company when it comes to the way you drive, taking a realistic approach to us young drivers.

They didn’t let me have one of them fm converters to play my tunes in the car through Bluetooth because it interferes with their black box signal but that was on an 05 Golf, I’d imagine even slightly newer cars wouldn’t need that now, however, no real issue there.

Overall, I always recommend these guys to anyone that I talk car insurance with.

I was made my insurance start from 03/02/2022
And I ask them to change the starting date they said you need to cancel all the insurance and make another one 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
