Well, So far so good with Indiefy basic free account. They're legit but if you're not a big artist and verified it limits your releases per month and tracks per release (5). I'd highly recommend them... See more

You can't get your money

Scam. Don't be fooled by the good comments. It's a good system for those who haven't withdrawn more money, have new tracks released or haven't earned much money. Your songs will be published without any problems but you will never get paid. I bought pro records 2 times in a row to get my money but they didn't pay me. The scary thing is that they have my ID.

Just plain pain in the ass

Just plain pain in the ass. They demand way too much unnecessary bullshit just to distribute music. Why the hell do I need to provide a ridiculous amount of info just to get my tracks out? It’s like they deliberately make it frustrating as hell.

Other distributors get the job done without this nonsense, but Indiefy? Nah, they’ll bury you in pointless requirements and waste your time. Stay far away from this garbage platform.

I was so happy with this at first then…

I was so happy with this at first then it's like everything I was trying to get released they just won't put out an there is nothing wrong with the tracks they just hit me with copy wright bs then I watch as someone with the same beat or instrumental and they don't get flagged mind you I know we both got our beat from the same place cause it was free to download on YouTube no copyright but yet they still hit me with copyright bs more then one person can use the same beat but they act like that's uncalled for so my suggestion is do what I'm going to do switch to distrokid cause indiefy is really picky oh it don't help that when u do give them proof they still don't approve it but I let my pro version run out after twice they rejected albums or coast me the release date so if u try this app just know they super cereal over there oh I'm still waiting for them to fix my last release at this moment and the album was supposed to be out on new years eve an I'm still waiting they don't even let me message them so I won't be renewing my partnership with them after all this I'll be giving my business to a distributor that can make music drop with our issue

Unsolicited changes to release metadata

It's been a while since I made the terrible mistake of trying to publish one of my songs called "Realize" using their service. And just now, I checked back to see if the song can be taken down finally, which is still not the case, you have to wait for half a year (180 days) to be able to take it down.
Which is beyond my comprehension, because they made some completely random and unsolicited changes to the metadata of the release, and most prominently, they changed the composers name to "John Anderson", which they probably pulled out of their ass because that is not even close to being related to me.
I tried to email them that there is not supposed to be a random name appearing as the composer of music that I made myself, and in response, they told me that Spotify no longer allows artist names as the composer, so my artist name "meehdrescher" wouldn't be accepted.
What really pisses me off about this is that they did neither feel the need to inform me about this, because this was never specified anywhere, nor did they allow me to change it because screw me, I need to pay for their completely overpriced pro subscription. Useless support, useless service, completely unacceptable how lazy they are, will never do anything with them again.
If there is still issues after I take the damn song down from their service so I can publish it myself, I will take legal action.

Final Rating: -1/10

Really bad service.

Dreadful customer service (they are nice, but really not helpful), they have this pro version, which costs for 2 months, as much as Distrokid for a year, which is supposed to let you release on all platforms. I can't tell how many times I had to ask them and verify multiple times to actually release on the platforms, they are suppose to do.

Indiefy Pro was a major letdown

Indiefy Pro was a major letdown. I paid for the service, but my song was never released as promised. When I asked for a refund, they refused and offered no real support. Very disappointing experience. Be cautious if you’re considering them!

This app is trash

They accused me of artificial growth and froze my account, they don't pay any royalties anymore and I also cant withdrawal cuz I have frozen account, moderators take hours to respond in a chat, and if they do they most times don't help..it says like 1 position in queue infinitly. I will leave your stupid distribution thingy, yes its easy to upload ur music, get verified artist profiles, but I want to also get money which I dont get
