The booking process with Indie Campers…

The booking process with Indie Campers has been very smooth and straightforward so far. The website was easy to use, the prices were clear, and the overall reservation experience has been simple and stress-free. Looking forward to starting our Scotland road trip soon.

Poor-quality campers and complete detachment from customer service.

The build quality is genuinely quite poor, and it’s easy to run into problems during the trip, especially with drawers and the furniture in general. I picked up an RV directly from the factory, and it immediately turned out to be full of noises and malfunctions.
Communication with the company is also cumbersome, and in case of issues.It takes hours to actually speak with an operator, and every time the chat is closed, you end up dealing with a different person. In the end, if any issues arise, Indie Campers will charge you for every problem found at return, while refusing to acknowledge the problems the camper itself caused, even when they significantly affected your overall experience.Personally, I injured my foot because of a screw protruding from the floor. The injury ruined my vacation, and despite the many chats where I reported this serious issue, instead of compensating me, they even charged me for a small mark on the rear bumper!!!!

Their prices are excessive and they treat customers badly

Three years travelling with Indie Campers. Everything ok until this year.

I had an unvolunteer accident (somebody broke a mirror of the van) & Indie Campers has no empathy with the situation.

They told that they would try to cover the mirror by the insurance due to the situation. Actually, this was never an option.

After returning the van, they charged me 674,98€ for the mirror reparation, which is totally overrated & out of the market. It's a price that actually doesn't cost the reparation & I feel cheated and misled.

So if you wanna take a van from them, make sure that they're gonna charge you much more money than the real reparations costs in case something is broken.

Scam

They didn’t have a camper for us when we arrived at our reservation time, and they didn’t have any idea when one would be available. I was promised a refund, but after many months and customer service messages, I’m still waiting for it. This place doesn’t act like a legitimate business; it seems more like a scam.
