I have been trying to reach support for…

I have been trying to reach support for 3 weeks regarding a booking, with no response. It looks like their Support doesn't exist, but customers really rely on humans when they need to do something. Right now I am stuck, and I regret paying this company.

Booking 9Q810N

Booking 9Q810N: Indiecampers downgraded my vehicle class C to lower last minute, but only after confirmation and check in and 100% payment up front, pickup is 4 days in Vienna and support is ghosting me. what kind of a service is this ??? We booked a C class because we simply do not fit in smaller. how would you feel if this happened 4 days before you holiday ?

BE CAREFUL

Bonjour tout le monde,

Be very careful with this company. They charge you mileage fees even if you choose the unlimited mileage option.

I also paid for the premium insurance, but in the end their customer service either replies after two days or doesn’t respond at all. If you run into any problems during your trip, don’t expect much help. Most of the time, you’ll just get automated bot responses.

The local team was fantastic—they were friendly, helpful, and very accommodating. However, they don’t handle these issues. They’re simply intermediaries and have nothing to do with the company’s customer service or billing policies.

Overall, I would avoid this company. I would much rather use Wikicampers again, as I’ve worked with them before and had a much better experience than with these scammers..

Experience was ok

Van was alright, a few features not working and when we told the company that the van wasn't fully cleaned at pick up they said we needed to tick the box in order to take the van.

I would like to say that I am disgusted…

I would like to say that I am disgusted that they are trying to keep their trust pilot score up by forcing people to leave a review when they are booking.

First off they changed where we had to pick up the vehicle at the last moment. We had to figure out the public transport system in a foreign country to travel 30 miles to get it.

They changed our vehicle - a free upgrade which was great. Apart from we had to return it the next day. We explained we were not able to do this due to travel commitments - they were welcome to pick it up from us. They allowed us to keep the upgrade for the duration of our holiday which was good. This had already been agreed by their head office.

The van was rough around the edges. I wouldn't have been happy at all if we had paid full price. However we were happy as it was a free upgrade.

The thing that really really annoys me is their lack of customer care. We broke down and only had their bot to help us. It took 15 hours to connect us to someone, luckily we had not been stuck at the side of the road that whole time as we managed to fix the vehicle ourselves. However the issue was ongoing and due to lack of confidence in being able to get help if needed we decided to return the vehicle early.

I would strongly recommend not using this company. If you break down at the side of a road in the middle of nowhere they will not be there to help you. The customer service is shockingly bad.

We were lucky to have some mechanical knowledge to be able to get the vehicle moving. The bad reviews are pouring in and their rating is being kept up by them forcing people to leave reviews when booking.
