This is a comprehensive site standing for the Internet Movie Database and has become very popular amongst the proletariat as well as the executive in recent years.

But, as massively successful sites are wont to do (Facebook!), they become a victim of their own success and have been criticised in a number of areas in the past, most recently for publishing ages of actors without their consent.

You might say WGAF but actually, it's an important factor when casting agents, well, cast so it becomes an accepted grey area and actors may find it useful to misrepresent themselves occassionally.

There has also been allegations of the site refusing to 'display' and therefore advertise certain films.

Still, if ever you recognise an actor but can't get his name off the tip off yer tongue then IMDB (or Wiki) will be there for you to put yer out of yer misery.

Check this site out for the most popular DVD rentals. When i find an actor i like it's very easy to find the other movies or shows that they are in.

IMDB is exactly what it claims to be, the movie database. Want to know about some obscure movie from 1987? Who played Merlin behind Tom Cruise in Top Gun? Who directed Das Boot? It's all there with easy to follow links and lists of upcoming movies for actors so you know what's coming at the box office.

always find the information i want and is easy to use. beats anything else for film info.

The IMDB offer a huge choice of Every published and Directed movie that has ever been made. A great resource for me to browse, and one that offers good reviews.

If you need to learn about a movie, this is the place to go, with great informative data and the website is very quick, so there is no waiting for anyone when browsing to different sections.

i use this site on my iphone very handy when your watching films and things and you need to know the name of someone and it gives you alot of information about them which is very useful.

IMDB has the best database and review guide for looking up movies and tv series I can find on the web I use it every day to look up film and TV series great service Keep the good work up.

I often go to this site to check if a new tv programme or a film is worth watching. Very reliable as the feedback is by other users of the site so it is very geniune.
