Here’s the thing, IMDb — I don’t trust you anymore.
Your moral backbone is gone. You remove reviews, adjust scores, and curate narratives at the whim of big companies, while pretending it’s all in the name of “fairness.” On the other side, you’ve got people review-bombing in protest. The result? A platform where nothing can be taken seriously anymore.
You can claim you’re “stuck in the middle,” but you’re not. Your own actions created this mess. You didn’t preserve neutrality — you dismantled it. And now everyone can see it.
IMDb is no longer a reliable database of films and honest audience opinion. It’s become a forum battleground … a political slap-fight between left wing and right wing activists, with films used as ammunition. While the one upmanship continues … the movies are just collateral damage.
Sincerely, I don’t respect your scoring system anymore. I don’t trust your reviews, your numbers, or your so-called moderation. You had credibility once. You threw it away.
They're EXTREMELY biased and side with…
They're EXTREMELY biased and side with the LEFTIST! I have written legitimate complaint reviews about shows and only one has been accepted! They sensor everything and DO NOT accept anything political. But even when you're writing a review about political shows or politics in shows they DECLINE all of it if you have a gripe! "At least when it comes to the Democrat side of politics!" Yeup, they're definitely ONE SIDED and NOT worth the time you spend writing a review as they WON'T let you debate anything when you're talking about the Democrat side of things.
The worst service
The worst service. Won't use it anymore. When reviewing not as they expect they blocked my account.
Imbd has alot of fake positive reviews…
Imbd has alot of fake positive reviews its not fair these days, i will never trust imbd ratings complete scam and paid reviews they have!! also if you give a negative review to someone they will try to remove and not show your review specifically the the movie is just released in cinema!!
Complete and utter waste of…
Complete and utter waste of time....I've submitted a few reviews on different things that I've watched and enjoyed, making sure it was fair and un-biased opinion that followed their Imdb rules, and they still don't publish it. What's the point...won't be bothering again.
It took away desktop view on mobile…
It took away desktop view on mobile again.
Now I need to spend ages to find out how to get back of this terrible mobile view. It's horrible. It's disgusting. I don't know ow why imdb thought it is a good look but it 100% isn't. The site also tried to force me to download the app which is even worse than the Internet site.
IMDB bias prevents fact based reviews
IMDB refuses to show my reviews of TV shows and gave no reasons as to why. I highlighted how one show had clear scenes which certain audience members would find triggering, traumatising and offensive. I simply stated facts to warn anyone reading so they can choose whether to watch the show or not. But IMDB have their own biases and want people to be traumatised and insulted.
Great to watch “300” again last night…
Great to watch “300” again last night but I noticed something I hadn’t seen before and that was when Gerald Butler was talking to his General before he sent him of back home to tell everyone about what happened, I noticed that the General had a “Polio” Vacination mark on his left arm, now, call me stupid but I’m sure that Vaccines didnt excise in those days so great spot by me I think😊😊😊
The worst thing to happen to films since ''Showgirls''.
There's so much in this world that i complain about. But IMDB-TV (or Freevee as it's now called) is the only thing i can think of that i actually want BANNED.
.
Amazon are nothing if not crafty. They obviously wanted to make yet even more ca$h from advertising. But we already pay for a streaming service from them (Prime). And i'm pretty sure that we pay for streaming services to NOT have adverts. So what to do?
.
Simple. Offer up something new, that's free, and give it the most trusted, film related name that Amazon can throw their billion$ at. And hey-presto, IMDb-TV is here! Something that takes a brand that film lovers trusted, and proceeds to take a massive dump all over that legacy with the worst, most intrusive, inappropriate, and badly timed adverts since some idiot invented pop-ups.
.
Not only are the advertisements, and when they happen, very poorly judged and inappropriate (i'm guessing its a terrible algorithm or an even worse A.I.), but there is nothing like any warning. There's no ''End of part 1'' or anything like i am used to after a lifetime of TV and films here in the UK.
.
The first film i tried to watch on IMDb-TV was ''Cloverfield''. During a pretty traumatic death scene near the end, the picture suddenly cut to Adam Sandler screaming in a toilet as part of a trailer for whatever garbage he is in now. As we are in the middle of someone dying, we suddenly cut to someone else's ''wacky'' trailer. No warning. No ''end of part... whatever''. And when Adams done being wacky and zany, we suddenly cut back to the remainder of the death scene in the film i'm supposed to be watching.
.
This is made all the more confusing because ''Cloverfield'' is a found-footage style film that DOES occasionally jump from scene to scene like an old VHS tape that's been gone over a few times. So if i hadn't already seen ''Cloverfield'' before, then i would have no idea that the Adam Sandler toilet scene was NOT actually a part of the main film! (Except for how much it pulled me out of the moment of course).
.
The next film i tried to watch on IMDb-TV was ''Lawrence Of Arabia''. In a nearly four hour long historical epic, they started jamming in adverts less than two minutes after the opening credits were finished. And yet again in the very middle of a death scene! One moment we are following a motorbike through the air in the British countryside in 1937, then we are suddenly jerked forward nearly a century into some chav girls flat watching magic animations come out of her smartphone, then we cut back to see the motorbike land!!!
.
Honestly, what kind of film lover could ever possibly be OK with this?
.
But then there's worse. Far worse.
.
As i am watching a docudrama about New Zealands worst ever gun massacre, as we see a little girl bleeding to death as she is trapped under a pile of her playmates corpses, IMDB-TV // Freevee then instantly and without warning jumps to a trailer for their latest "wacky" sitcom (apparently about angels). Then we are jolted back to the remainder of the little girls death scene.
.
THIS, IS, VILE!!!
.
Seriously Amazon, with all of your money, can't you pay someone to just watch your service and make notes of where these ad breaks could be slide forward or back a few seconds to make things less confusing and less offensive? You can't even put an ''End of part....'' moment?
.
For one of the biggest companies on Earth, you are acting hella cheap.

Untrustworthy IMDB
For their own shows, they hide reviews lesser than 6/10. Very untrustworthy.
below 6
they censor negative comments about their products because of their own bias (rings of power ratings below 6 has been deleted)
Untrustworthy
Removed all reviews of under 6 for a very poorly made show that is produced by a company that owns IMDB.
IMDB is untrustworthy, biast and unfair to its users.
