Awful company

Awful company, bought a post/parcel box and I Love Parcels sent us the wrong keys so we can't open the lock. Got in touch with Tracey from customer services who suggest we buy some new keys. Avoid this company at all costs.

When you contacted us regarding the keys, we reviewed the lock code provided. The code supplied did not match the lock system used on our products, which suggested there may have been some confusion with the keys in question.

We attempted to contact you by phone on two occasions and also emailed several times to try and resolve this and understand the situation fully, but unfortunately we didn’t receive a response.

Really poor labelling

Was initially excited after finding through Google search. Took a lot.of time for the parcel box to arrive and when it dis the labelling was not aligned and it seems that I am being blamed for this as they 'would just never send a product with the lable misaligned'. Despite multiple emails the company refuse to correct this or refund the cost of the label. The only resolution they have suggested that I re-order and they will send it but I cove the postage. There is also no formal complaints process as it is a 'small company'. I paid £200 and the box looks cheap and ugly due to the label.

Your parcel box was ordered on 22nd December at 1:48pm. At that time, our website clearly displayed our Christmas closure dates, with dispatch resuming on 2nd January. Your order was shipped on 2nd January in line with the stated timeframe shown at checkout.

Regarding the personalised decal, this is supplied separately and is designed to be self-applied so customers can position it exactly as they prefer. We provide written application instructions with the order, include guidance on our website, and link to these instructions in our emails. We are also always available by phone or email if any assistance is needed during application.

As the decal is customer-applied, alignment is determined at the time of fitting. When you contacted us, we offered to produce a replacement decal as a goodwill gesture, asking only that the postage be covered, as we felt this was a fair resolution.

We take pride in the quality and finish of our parcel boxes and would never knowingly send a product that does not meet our standards. We’re sorry if any of our communication felt unsatisfactory.

Avoid - Lasts less than 6 months (unless I just had a faulty one; but can’t get in touch with customer services to find out)

Update
The company called me today (after a very roundabout way of me eventually finding a way to contact them
Via Amazon rather than their own website). Communication was then great and instant response to replace faulty combination lock with a key lock. It seems the company had some issue with their email correspondence getting blocked when using their online form, leaving customers to get frustrated unable to contact them. Hopefully once sorted it’ll be better!

As mentioned by another reviewer, for the first few months the parcel box seemed great. However, the combination lock has deteriorated so badly that it is now impossible to open, rendering an extremely expensive box useless (we’ve only had it since may). We can no longer access all our mail so have to keep the gate constantly open for deliveries- quite a big issue for us. My problem is that I have been trying in vain for a week now to get a response from customer services. They do not answer the phone and haven’t responded or acknowledged the online form I completed (their stated preferred method of communication). Very frustrating. Here’s hoping they get back to me soon before I have start down the customer rights route for selling product unfit for purpose…..

I Was initially impressed with the…

I Was initially impressed with the parcel box but after 3 months the combination lock was getting harder and harder to open. When I messaged the company they sent me a link to purchase another lock for £15 after I purchased the box for £285 I would have expected more. The company has been in touch since I wrote this review saying they miss read my email and when they later reread it and then offered a replacement lock. They said they were not aware of the review. However when I accepted the replacement they asked if I would consider taking the review down or amending it. So I have given another star but still question the customer service.

Our parcel boxes are supplied with a 12-month functional warranty on components such as locks, and if a fault develops within that period, we replace the part.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM!

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM! It’s A SCAM fraudulent company, selling faulty parcel boxes that aren’t secure then refuse to refund claiming it’s been damaged in transit.

The parcel box I ordered was not secure, anyone could put their arm down and pull the parcels out, yet when I contacted the company to explain their item isn’t fit for purpose, they insisted that I pay returns costs. Only to then claim it was damaged in transit - despite the proof of delivery showing packaging in perfect condition.

Fortunately my credit card company refunded as I had enough proof the parcel box sent out wasn’t secure - therefore not fit for purpose.
🚨 They even reported this review in a bid to control the narrative!! 🚨

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND EVEN MY WORST ENEMY TO BUY FROM THIS SCAM COMPANY.

We strongly reject the allegation that we are a scam or fraudulent company.

The parcel box was returned to us and arrived significantly damaged during return transit. We hold photographic evidence of its condition upon arrival. Responsibility for ensuring goods are safely packaged and insured when returning them rests with the sender.

We advised that a claim should be made with the courier used for the return, as the damage did not occur prior to dispatch from us.

A chargeback was subsequently processed by your card provider. A chargeback decision is not a determination that a product was “unfit for purpose”, but part of a card provider’s dispute process.

We report reviews to Trustpilot only where they contain serious allegations of criminal conduct. Protecting our business from defamatory claims is not an attempt to “control a narrative”, but standard practice.

We are a legitimate UK business with published policies, warranties and full contact details. We consider this matter closed.

Very pleased with our parcel box, which is substantial and has been sitting outside for two winters and none the worse for wear. It isn’t clunky, everything works smoothly as it should.
I later ordered a house name transfer, this has gone on very easily, is clear, looks good.
Highly recommend this company.

NON STICKY STICKERS

I ordered a house name sticker and no junk mail sticker for my parcel box. Sadly the stickers do not stay stuck on so I find myself in a sticky non-sticky situation. I keep having to smooth them down every 2 days which is not what I was expecting to have to do. I contacted the company but did not get a reply. I asked for a refund or replacements as the stickers are not fit for purpose.

The vinyl we use is commercial-grade exterior vinyl, the same material used across our products, and when applied correctly it adheres securely without lifting. For best results, decals must be applied to a clean, dry surface at an appropriate temperature, as applying to a cold surface can affect adhesion. Full application guidance is provided with the order, on our website, and linked within our emails.

Great Service and great product

Great Service and great product. Delivery was quick and easy. Orginaised a day. The driver helped with the delivery. We ordered the largest Box. Not heavy just awkward. The box was easy to install and set the lock. I would advise buying a sign. Although it has parcels etc.. written on it Amazon still don’t understand so we will be buying a sign for the front door ‘Parcels in Parcel Box’ etc.. They have to walk past it !

ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE

I bought a Manilla letterbox from i love parcels on 17th December 2024. The door hinges were faulty when i opened the box on 21st December. They had shut for christmas so i filled in the online form. After christmas i returned the faulty postbox and again filled in the online form. Rung on countless occasions and have had no refund or heard nothing from the company. Customer service sucks - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Product great, customer service: none

First, the parcel box I bought from this company is very good. Fitting a heavy box to a wall is never going to be easy but the pre-drilled holes made it as painless as it could have been. I used anchor bolts rather than the supplied fixings for additional strength but the supplied fixings would have worked on hard masonry. The box is a really useful thing to have in this era of online ordering.

However customer service was non-existent. I had intended delivery to a different location from the billing location but when the order was confirmed both addresses were shown as the billing address. This might have been my error so I do not hold them responsible for that. I tried calling Ilove parcels to get this changed but they did not answer the telephone. The message reccommended using the web form so I did that. There was never any reply at all. I received a courier notification of delivery to the billing address on a day when i would not be in. I completed the courier's form to change delivery date. This was ignored by the courier who then proceeded to delivery on the original date. Fortunately I was able to speak to the driver via doorbell camera and make an arrangement for a safe place to leave it. I subsequently had to take the box 120 miles by car to the intended destination. So although the product was good there was simply no customer service at all.

Milan Letterbox - not secure

Bought a Milan Letterbox this year - service and delivery is fine but the box is not secure. It is quite easy to slide a hand in the top and extract the mail. Renders the lock pretty redundant. Also the newspaper holder is not quite large enough to keep the paper dry. Just buying a different one now.

The Milan is designed with a larger mail aperture so it can accept bulkier items, and the opening dimensions are shown on the product page to help customers assess suitability.
