We bought our Suzuki Vitara from Humphries & Parks at the beginning of August, after our old (non-Suzuki!) car completely broke down just before we were due to go on holiday, so we were under quite a bit of time pressure.

Richard was absolutely brilliant throughout. He was incredibly patient, helpful and responsive, answering all of our many questions. Especially appreciated as we know very little about cars! He made the whole process feel straightforward and reassuring and never made us feel rushed.

And the car... we absolutely LOVE it!! We bought a four-year-old Vitara and honestly keep wondering why everyone isn't driving one. It is such a brilliant car.

It feels fantastic on the road, is incredibly spacious without being enormous and deals beautifully with the endless potholes where we live. The high seating position is one of the best things about it - it's wonderfully easy to get in and out of and, for anyone who struggles with mobility or back or hip pain, it makes such a difference.

I also love how Suzuki has designed the inside. It feels modern but still has proper buttons and knobs for the things you actually need while driving. You can adjust the heating, fan or other controls almost instinctively rather than having to navigate through a screen and take your attention away from the road. Everything just feels simple, tactile and easy to use.

It’s comfortable, practical, roomy, high up, great to drive and somehow has loads of character too. We are absolutely not car people, but we have completely fallen head over heels for this one!

We couldn't be happier with our Vitara or with the service we received from Richard and the team at Humphries & Parks. Thank you!

Amazing service, amazing car. We bought a 22 plate swift, drove to Eymet in France gave us 63mpg!! Wow! Will never buy a Ford every again.. Mel was amazing, so polite, friendly, very helpful and professional. Nothing was to much trouble for her. 5 stars from us. We'll done to the entire team.

I bought a truck from Humphries & Parkes and, unfortunately, the engine failed within 24 hours. It was frustrating, and the repair took a few weeks with a bit of back and forth along the way.

That said, Sam and the team were professional throughout and provided me with a courtesy truck while mine was being repaired, which I really appreciated.

I’ve now had my truck back for a few weeks and it’s been running perfectly with no issues.

Thank you to Sam and the whole team for putting things right. It’s easy to judge a company when everything goes smoothly, but what matters is how they deal with problems, and I can’t fault the way they handled mine. I’d happily recommend Humphries & Parkes.

I purchased a Suzuki Vitara from Humphries & Parks earlier this year after choosing them because of their excellent reputation, even though they're over 30 miles away.

There were a couple of minor clerical issues at handover, but they were quickly put right. What really mattered was the dealership's after-sales care, and the way they responded confirmed I had made the right choice.

Shortly after purchasing the car, I became concerned about what I thought was a grinding noise from the brakes. The dealership carried out a thorough inspection. The service manager took the time to listen, explain exactly what had been checked and show me videos of the inspection. The brakes were confirmed to be in excellent condition and his patience and thorough explanation left me feeling reassured and confident in their assessment.

Throughout my dealings with the team, everyone has been polite, friendly and professional. Communication has been excellent, and I also appreciated the complimentary wash and clean.

Based on my experience, I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Humphries & Parks and, despite the distance, I fully intend to continue using them for my servicing and MOTs.

Having bought a Jimny in April and received fantastic service at that time, this morning I sent an email enquiry relating to a minor matter of clarification.
I received an instant response and also a video explanation of how to do what I wanted to do. I have had nothing but the very best service and support from this garage.
I live more than 180 miles away but when I need a Suzuki product H and P is where I shall go. No question about it.

From the moment we arrived into the showroom we were welcomed warmly and was greeted by Richard. He explained in detail the car's history and we had a test drive. The paperwork was sorted in short period of time after the purchase.

540£ to service and fix heating problem,heating still not working,they won’t another 400£ to flush system,absolute rip off,as I was told heating problem would be sorted,won’t be going back there again,did email dealership with my complaint as well as tell them I wasn’t happy,no reply,had my car booked in as I was taking my blue badge ,disabled wife to Cornwall,still went but in a very cold car

The best experience I’ve had buying a car, couldn’t recommend more! Very friendly and helpful staff and got the car I wanted for a very reasonable price. Would definitely be using them again.

Been looking for a decent family car for a while after bad experience with my last two (bought else where). Found one i liked the looked of and emailed in quite late to say I was coming first thing in the morning. As I was leaving I recieved a prompt reply to say that it was fine and to ask for Richard Stockwell. Discussed what I was looking for and he took us down to view some. Whilst talking I mentioned my budget and I really liked the way he didnt pressure me to go any higher, in fact there was two cars - the one he was showing me was slightly over but as soon as I mentioned my budget he found me another, exactly the same spec but with a slight ( and i do mean slight) higher milage ( which was still a lot lower then cars looked else where in same budget). He was patient with the fact I had 3 of my children with me and explained everything we needed to know about the car as well as tips etc.
Transaction was smooth and when we returned to collect the car it was spotless. Typical me forgot to do the tax so he sorted that for us before my husband drove away. When my husband went to drive away, he noticed a small chip in the screen which wasnt there when we test drove. No fuss made, Richard arranged for someone to come to my house the next day and fix it free of charge. Also got a posh little gift and a deal on extended warranty which was a nice touch. Polite, informative, patient and no sales pitches which is why I look forward to returning in the future to upgrade. Thank you

His description of the car was very accurate which was appreciated because we live 300 miles away and didn’t want a waisted journey. Im really happy with my new car.

Fantastic! Such a lovely team who made the whole process so easy. Richard was amazing and very accommodating and the car was very well priced and arrived immaculate.

What a con!!!!
I put my Mitsubishi Eclipse in for a service, They recommended that the clutch should be changed and they wanted the best part of £2000.
I got a second opinion and they said that the clutch didnt need changing at all.
Secondly, one of the key fobs wasnt working and they wanted to charge me over£500 to geet a new one, I enquired a local auto locksmith and he charged me £180.
I will never do business with Humphries and parks!!!!!

We spent £43k on a brand new car in 2023. We followed the care warranty procedures. We advised of a strange noise in the engine. They couldn’t find it. We didn’t trust this so asked them to but it back from us. They offered £25k, then two weeks later the engine blew. This was March 2025. We still haven’t had our car back and it’s DEC 25, or anyone really tell us what happened to it.
Humphrey and Parks have completely washed their hands of this helping us with the car and won’t buy it back. It’s now worth £15k. Despite us telling them something wasn’t right.

The service we have received from them and their KPG head office has been beyond terrible.

DO NOT TRUST SAM KINGSLAND JOY or BRUNO. And DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY WITH THIS COMPANY who don’t honour anything!

They have left us with scrap.

I sold my car to Humphries and Parks. The whole transaction was done remotely, on the basis of photos that I sent. It could not have been easier. I was offered a very fair price, which was honoured on collection of the car from my home. The collection driver would not leave with the vehicle until I confirmed I had received payment to my bank account.
