Hume Health Body Pod Reviews 

Rubbish. It gives random readings on body fat when it actually does work.... Apparently yesterday i lost 3% body fat... it even asked me if I want to record some measurements as they differ vastly from the ones before!!! I have 2 other measurements on the go that are consistent!! I I keep daily track of my weight and body fat % and thought this would help. Just faulty. To make things worse the AI driven customer service - i'm now on my 10th email has just sent me the original response back.... it's like i'm in a circular conversation with a robot... and i need to pay for the shipping back!!

They are misrepresenting what the body pod can do and then when you jump through all the hoops to send the scale back AND PAY THE SHIPPING, they do not adhere to their word of ensuring you receive the refund within 7-10 business days. This was my REPLACEMENT scale. The first scale never charged so they offered to replace it (never had to send the first one back) and it took about a month to get the replacement. The customer service is horrible. You never get the same person responding to you so you end up getting multiple people saying they will be escalating the issue and personally following up with you and you never hear from that person again. They received the scale back around the 29th of January and it took me hounding them every day to FINALLY get notification that they initiated the refund today although it still isn’t in my account.

While the product seems like it would be fantastic based on the two times I was able to use it, the connection via Bluetooth is spotty at best. I was able to connect twice and haven't had any luck since. I have unpaired the pod in the app and attempted to re-pair again too many times to count. I have deleted and reinstalled the app. I have rebooted my phone. I have turned Bluetooth off and on. The scale itself appears to be working, but it is failing at one if its most basic features, which is consistently connecting to my phone so I can view the data. Also, there is no "tap to wake" feature. I have to fully stand on the scale and begin weighing before the screen comes on, and I very rarely get the double zeros when I step off to attempt connecting. In short, it's unreliable. Effectively, it's an exceptionally expensive passive digital scale, something I could get from Amazon for around $15. To top it off, they refuse to honor their return policy.

Bluetooth connection fails 95% of the time. It’s a total mess.

Other products have wifi connection, far more reliable and do not require to have you phone close to the pod.

Ai slop when trying to communicate with their poorly trained agent. Makes promises to make up for their mistakes. Then pulls a gypsy switch and take back what they said. BAD COMPAN

Product did not function as promised. Body scan did not work. All trouble shooting tips did not help. Tried to get a replacement and was given the run around for about a month. Misled and outright lied to. No replacement or refund yet.

I’ve received numerous emails from Hume, but after a week I still haven’t received the scales I ordered. Would not recommend them based on their poor delivery service. Amazon = next day. Why not Hume? Not good enough for the money spent.

This company should not exist. The product is faulty, in spite of repeated tries to use it with the troubleshooting tips. The customer service however is the most atrocious thing. I finally got someone to acknowledge that their product is faulty and that I deserve a refund. Only to never receive the refund and to have numerous emails unanswered and of course they don't have a phone number. This is pure theft at this point. Will never buy anything from this company or its affiliates again.

I own a Hume scale and it’s ok, but i recently received an email from them asking for feedback in exchange for a $50 gift card.

After giving feedback I had to email them and ask them to send me the gift card. Turns out there is no gift card, only a $50 credit towards spending even more money with them.

Multiple emails back and forth have yielded an apology over the confusion of not clearly stating the offer. Don’t do business with Hume, they lack integrity.

Received in time. The scale provides a myriad of information on your health and body. I can now finally track my weight loss and body composition progress accurately. The results also correspond with a difference of 1% to the Inbody measurements of my nutritionist. That device costs thousands. Therefore, I highly recommend the scale.

The scale is fine for measuring weight but very inaccurate on other metrics. I have my body composition done every 3 months at the gym and wanted to track my body fat % and other metrics in between. The total body fat % on this scale shows as 6% higher than what my actual body fat % is and it's completely off with other things like the trunk/arms/legs. For e.g. my trunk has 22% body fat and it's showing as 33% which is ridiculous. Additionally, what they don't tell you when you purchase the scale is that you need to purchase a subscription to use a lot of the functionality of the app. Disappointed that I wasted so much money on this scale.

The Hume pod is easy to use and definitely helps keep track of your body composition. I wish the app was easier to track the previous readings. Other than that I'm very happy with my purchase.

The pod does not give accurate readings and I have lost complete confidence in it ever doing so. I have requested an RMA three times now and they are still pushing me to reboot the scale or accept a replacement. I just want my money back and to get it out of my apartment. I wish I'd checked TrustPilot first rather than falling for the false advertising. If I do not receive an RMA next week I will look into suing in small claims court.

Works great. Good metrics. Love using it. Make sure you're feet are damp when you get on the scale.

The band is comfortable and battery life last a a week on average. The app could be more insightful but overall good.

Easy setup. App easy to understand.

A great product that is helping me understand how my training is changing my body

The Hume Pod smart scale takes a couple weeks of use to get stabilized results. Initially my health score number was very low considering I'm in very good shape. I use an Apple Watch 7, I don't have the Hume band so I kinda feel I am missing out on some data. There does seem to be quite a focus on optional upgrade plans that I am not interested in. I was surprised that my body fat showed me at "low". I kinda thought I was average. It was helpful read in the instructions that I should have a drink of water before getting on the scale. Once you get used to a routine of using it at the optimal time I think results will become more consisitent. The reason I bought the scale is a friend bought one and I had experience at Upgrade Labs using their InBody smart scale. At 40% its a pretty good deal. I am quite surprised my many of the negative reviews.
