Very easy payment process, I could either pay online via their website or use their BACS. Never had any problems and if I wanted to follow up with their team if payments went through their very fast with replying. Inexpensive and student friendly!

They are so hard to work with a make too many errors to be worth paying more for.
If you are just doing gas and electric through them, it is so much simpler and cheaper to just do it through the energy supplier.
As a house we had countless emails from them saying we are overusing, we went online to check an we were in credit.

Absolute rip off, I got the Final Statement from them today, to find out they were charging us a daily standing charge for electricity at "Standing Charge (excl. VAT): 338 days @ £3.8494 per/day" and a daily standing charge of gas at "Standing Charge (excl. VAT): 338 days @ £5.2709 per/day", standing charges are normally below 50p!!

As a landlord tried to close account paid £27.17 back several months ago.I than get an email to pay £47.20 .I than had to send proof of payment.when calling to find out opening time changed from 9.00am to 10.00am spoke to George whom told me £7.00plus late payment of £15 added when i never received any emails wanted to speak to a manager only to be told none available.

I moved into my flat on 12 Apr 2025 with a reading 16251 and Huddle immediately raised a fake £900 bill using wrong estimates. They then blocked my switch to Octopus until that bogus bill was “settled.”
Even after I paid everything up to 11 Jul (reading 16902) and switched on 1 Aug (final 16985) — which matches Octopus’s record — they never issued the promised final bill.
Instead, they’ve sent debt recovery and court letters based on another wrong estimate (17274).
I have all the proofs — bills, readings, and emails. Completely unprofessional and distressing experience. Avoid Huddle at all costs.

House got automatically switched to Huddle for a very short period of time (not the company we were going with but that contract didn't start until a month after moving in so we got sent to Huddle for some reason). Bill was somewhere around £12 - now it's suddenly over £120. Granted I should've gotten around to it sooner, but that interest rate is frankly ridiculous.
