Good choice of material. Delivery took longer than I expected, was then advised that they were just waiting for one part of my order to be received by them. Once they had it I had my order next day.

Rubbish quality & mansplaining customer service
I bought a couple of rolls of macrame cord, I got it in nice time. However, when I used it, the cord unravels as you use it so is loose when making knots. There are also bits pocking out of it that have to be cut off. All cord I have used in the past has been fairly tight so I wasnt too happy with the result of what I was making.
I got in touch with Hot Pink and I will say I did mention I hope to get a response or I would be giving a review on that fact I didn't. What I got in response was an arrogant man called Nick that decided to mansplain me how things work in this world to the point I don't think he realised his bad customer service.
He said I could return the rolls if fit for resale.. as I had to use a bit of one roll to find out the rubbish quality it wasnt worth my time and effort to send back the other & paying postage. I guess I will use it for the garden or something, definitely can't use it on a macrame project!
I would avoid, even to avoid having to have a conversation with Nick! Life is too short!

To the response I have received on this review.. I hope you can see that Nick likes to talk. My message was not aggressive.. perhaps I threatened of a review, but definitely not aggressive! I am not the only one in the reviews mentioning his rudeness. Spend your money as you wish, but I would avoid! There are plenty of other nice independent shops out there!

Unfortunately, the first contact we had from 'Avril' was an aggressive email threatening a negative trust pilot review if we did not refund her for products she had already opened and used extensively.
We explained our return policy and added that the review threats were unnecessary and would not lead to a different outcome.
Our original offer to accept a return of the items in the order that were not unpackaged still remains open, strangely Avril has declined to take us up on that offer.
Once products have been opened and extensively used (Avril provided photos of her project that demonstrated this), we cannot accept a return unfortunately.
As an equal opportunities employer, we do indeed have both men and women working here, though we are unsure how Avril feels this is relevant to her concerns.
If you are reading this review and have any concerns regarding the service Avril received, please contact us and we are happy to provide you with a copy of the original email exchange for you to judge yourself.

Items never arrived
Placed an order on Monday.
Never received any confirmation email (have checked spam/junk folders).
I got in touch with customer service who assured me the order has been dispatched, but they could not provide me with a delivery tracking number.
To this day I haven’t received my order nor a tracking number nor a refund. Not happy with my experience. I ordered from this company as it was supposed to be quick delivery.

Great small business
I have been buying from HotPink for sometime. They are always efficient and have a great range on an easy to use, well set out website.
Recently I ordered the wrong item, both colour and width of flat elastic. One quick phone call about 5:00pm and the situation was instantly resolved, th3 following morning the order as amended was sent ou5 and with me less than 24 hours later.
