We were very happy with the service and company when we first used them. However, we placed an order early March, which they were unable to supply. Despite repeatedly asking for a refund of our money, they have responded only once, but still not actually refunded us. They have basically taken our money for nothing in return.

I placed an order on the 3rd November 2024, turned out they did not have the whole order so they sent nothing, not even an email to tell me. I had to contact them several times but still no order arrived. After many more emails I had to change my order and with every change they were out of stock, I finally received something today, 26th June 2025, less than half the value of what I've paid. I won't order from them again.

After successfully using Hot Pink for a couple of years I ordered a larger quantity of zips in the summer of 2024. Nothing arrived so I chased them up after one month. I was sent a partial order as they didn’t have the full quantity in stock, with a promise that the remainder would follow. This has never arrived after almost 12 months and they have stopped responding to emails. Have moved to a different supplier, very disappointed.

Never received my order or a refund. When I didn't receive a dispatch email or any tracking info I emailed them to check what was happening. They replied to say it had been processed, but that was the last time I heard from them. My items were never delivered, I never received any tracking info, and my request for a refund was met with silence. I wish I'd checked the reviews as I can see this isn't an isolated issue. I will be reporting them to Trading Standards.

terrible company, will never use again

I ordered items off the website on 7th April 2025 and have had to email them three times over the intervening weeks to find out if it has been dispatched. Had the same issues as others, saying trouble with the postal service and then items were not in stock and waiting for order. Still waiting for order and not had a partial refund for items the do not have. Wish I had read the reviews before I ordered. Their communication is poor and excuses are pathetic. How bad can the postal service be in Cornwall?

I ordered an item and received an email telling me they’d let me know when the item was despatched. I heard no more, and so emailed them several times but received no reply. I looked up the phone number, but it was never answered. What is disappointing is that their website is still taking orders: if they’re never going to respond to dissatisfied customers about unfulfilled orders, they shouldn’t still be taking new orders.

Ordered items a month ago. No delivery, no reply to emails, telephone disconnected. Assume they have ceased trading

I placed an order back in Jan - still not received. No response to my last email. Definitely avoid using this company.

Still waiting ten days after ordering. I have chased the order, only to be told they're having difficulty with their postal service!!

No sure whats gone wrong with this company I have been using for a few years but the last couple of orders have taken forever to arrive. This time they have failed to send the order, send a refund or reply to numerous emails. They have now turned off their phone line so that they cant be contacted. Awful way to run a Business I would avoid using them.

If I could give zero stars I would - avoid like the plague. They take your money and then wait two weeks for you to contact them because you've not received your order - only to be told the items are out of stock, even though they show in stock on the website. Twice I've ordered and got exactly the same response, I won't order with these again and wouldn't even recommend them to even my worst enemy. Awful company, awful customer service.

I ordered a full roll of f220 vlieseline interfacing on 12th March 2025. The product was not dispatched. I tried to contact the company via email, contact form and telephone multiple times with no response.

After 3 weeks, I had to resort to asking PayPal to step in and I have been issued a refund.

This experience is very disappointing. I have used this company in the past and been happy with the service - I'm not sure what has changed.

After two weeks I emailed as my order hadn't arrived. I received a reply in a few hours apologising for the delay and letting me know that an item was out of stock and suggesting an alternative, which I accepted. I received my complete order two days later.

I am happy with what I received however I would have liked to have been told that the item was out of stock, rather than me having to make contact.

The item was listed as "in stock", but I never received the item. They took my payment but after the initial order confirmation email I heard nothing. I waited 2 weeks and still nothing. I tried calling the number on their website several times, but they did not answer the phone. I emailed to check the status of my order and asked for a refund. Eventually I did get a response to my email which just said, we're sorry to hear you want a refund. It did not explain the status of my order, whether the item was ever in stock, tell me when I could expect the refund, or apologise for the delay. Now I do see the refund in my bank account - seems I am one of the lucky ones, judging from other reviews on here. FYI their Google Maps listing says they have 126 reviews but none were available to view.

Do not use this company.

They have not sent any of the items which I’ve paid for, they do not reply to emails or answer the telephone. Thank goodness all I ordered were some zips and a rotary cutter! I wanted to support a small business rather than Amazon or similar but am completely disappointed and out of pocket.

I placed an order on 17th December 2024 and am still waiting for it in March 2025!! I have ordered cotton webbing for bags a few times from Hot Pink Haberdashery and whilst the quality is good, the customer service is not. They confirm your order and take payment without checking stock and don't contact when items are not available. If you don't have items in stock, don't take the order. Contact customers with this information instead of relying on customers to contact you.

Wow and they sink even lower. So not only did I never receive the goods I paid for I wasn't refunded either. I had to contact the bank to get my money back. One of their minions emailed me after my first review to say I sent them an aggressive email lol. It wasn't aggressive but regardless, I'm not responsible for your hurt feelings and victim mentality. The facts are the facts... I placed and order, you didn't send it. I tried contacting you for WEEKS and had no response or reply. I claimed the money back from my bank as you didn't refund me and THEN you wanted to say something to me. Then I received a message from my bank to say you have disputed my claim. I was going to leave it but as you've tried to scam me by disputing my claim, well.... You can't win the dispute with the bank as you have 0 evidence to say the item was sent, delivered or if I received a refund. Shameful behaviour from a broke company.

Clap back: All I've proven is that you're a scam artist. If you think my review is aggressive (victim mentality again) then you have bigger problems than going broke. Publish the "aggressive" email if you think you need to. You clearly think you are doing something coming back with your snarky little responses (pathetic) but I've got the truth on my side, there's nothing you can really say. If your stance is to steal money off customers that criticise you then no wonder your business is going down the pan. The proof is in the MANY negative reviews on this site. Or are we all lying? So my very last reply to you is this... I wish you all the very best things that you CLEARLY deserve xx

I don’t even want to give them one star, they don’t deserve it. Don’t order from them, I can only assume that they are on the brink of bankruptcy because they don’t appear to have anything in stock despite their website saying items are in stock. I wanted to support a local Cornish business and have ordered from them in the past with no problems. But nearly a month later I have asked PayPal for a refund as despite chasing HPH and then requesting a refund after being told they were waiting for some of my order (all of which was apparently in stock when I placed the order), I have heard nothing more. All the positive reviews on their website are from two or three years ago which should serve as a warning.

Similar experience to a lot of people, i ordered an item, had a email to say it was out of stock, so i cancelled the order, as i couldn't get any response i started a chargeback with my bank, Hot pink disputed it even though i had an email stating that they had not dispatched it, the card company then refused to refund so i am stuck with no product and out of pocket by £80.00. a terrible company to deal with!!
