I've been using HostMedia since October 2018 on their £1 for life account. Currently I host a personal website. Once you're logged into cPanel it's no different to one of the bigger hosting providers. Prior to HostMedia I was using GoDaddy and FastHosts. I didn't have any technical problems with them, the prices were far too high for my basic hosting needs.

I was a bit unsure after reading some of the reviews about downtime, however I haven't experienced any problems in the time I have been hosting. I will be using them for upcoming projects in the future.

I've been using HostMedia services almost 2 years, and their services is the best I ever had. Their support team is responsive and everytime I had trouble, just open a ticket and their team will resolve it!

I've been using Host Media mainly to host my emails and holding pages for three websites. They were the most cost-effective solution for what I need.

The fact that you can host unlimited websites is good. And I loved being able to choose server location. Reliability-wise, I haven't noticed any hiccups with my email availability or anything else.

I've used chat support for tech questions and also ticket support for a billing issue at the start. All was very swift and friendly.

I am currently in process of testing out and comparing various hosting providers for an article I am writing, so signed up to try out their new advertised Lucee plans to try out the servers, and my support experience has been frustrating.

What should have been a simple 5 minute job of resetting a password, turned into a 2 day fiasco of wrong passwords being reset locking me out.
Issues with control panel not working as expected to whitelist IP's, not being to remotely access databases and having to explain how tcp/ip and telnet work and that if you cannot connect then any amount of password resets are not going to help. Even worse when they do not know the issue is caused by one of their own standard operating procedures.

Almost every time I used livechat I was asked to open a ticket, so that seems pretty pointless.

A lot of companies, especially hosts these days outsource their support to India, especially the cheap ones, as it is the only way they can afford to have a 24/7 helpdesk. Which is fair enough, I have done the same thing myself, but the key when doing this is ongoing performance reviews and quality control, which is clearly where HostMEdia needs to invest some time based on my experiences.

I can certainly see that that for a non-technical customer who is not able to diagnose issues themselves or understand when they are being given wrong advice, simple problems could drag on for days with while you get sent on a wild goose case.

So far so good. Ordering was simple and painless. As per requirements to get Lucee up and running a ticket needed opening requesting this on previous setup but believe this is automated now. It was simple and straightforward and the support team at host media were on the ball. I’m amazed at the speed performance of the host and cloud servers so looking forward to full deployment.

Overall a great service received from host media and their support team. If you’re looking for cfml hosting this is definitely one to checkout.

So far, so good! Moved to Host Media because I was tired of poor customer service, little to no communication, and a general lack of caring from my previous provider.

I'm very pleased with the speed and quality of the migration (~30 websites) as well as Support's willingness to help and timely updates!

Satisfied and happy customer for a couple of years. When ever I have had need of support they havd been responsive and helpful. My VPS with them is very reliable .

Hostmedia is great. Cheap but yet always a good uptime. Recommended.

Great service, hardly any down time, the support team has always been in touch quite quickly and solved any issue I had (e.g. installing Rails dependencies).
