No toilet paper in restrooms. No napkins to dry yourself from washing hands. No soap. Attendant said he didn't have any. Poor customer service.

Lots of potential!
Hopin has a lot of potential. It gives more of an interactive conference feel than Zoom, and also feels more modern and easier to navigate than other virtual conference software. There are a decent amount of bugs to work out still, but Hopin is growing and changing at an incredible pace, so I’m sure they will work them out very soon.
Good platform to connect with people
Good platform to connect with people. Still scope for improvement
Great for Conferences; potential for much wider range of usage.
Hopin provides great tools, akin to a "virtual conference center building", for conducting an online conference. With further improvements to the software capabilities, it has the potential for also being useful for a broader range of uses beyond just a typical "conference".
The biggest issues I encountered were:
(1) the registration process is cumbersome for non-technical folks, particularly in not recognizing that an email address was used and automatically presenting an option to "Sign In". Instead the process gives an error, which frustrates the users. While the "Sign In" link is shown, once the email is entered it would be simpler for the user if there was a message related to "Email address already used; Do you want to sign in? If you forgot your password, click here" ... anything that make the process & options clearer. Of nearly 90 registrations at a recent event, roughly 1/4 of them commented on the difficulty of the initial process of getting a Hopin account as part of getting a ticket to the event.
(2) There is currently no simple mechanism for breaking up a large number of attendees into small groups for breakout sessions/discussions. That presents a big obstacle for using this facility for online training events and similar "personal development" type of virtual gatherings. While many conferences are set up with each individual session having distinct topics for the attendees to choose from, there are other kinds of 'conferences' (e.g. training events) where there is an introduction to the whole large group, then everyone is to go to a one of many small group breakouts -- all with an identical task or topic to discuss. It would be far simpler if such sessions could be 'auto-filled' with the proper number of people in a way that they are shown only one choice of a session to participate in.
(3) There is no easy means for multiple organizations to cooperatively _organize_ an event; this limits the ability for smaller organizations (e.g. local non-profits) to easily pool their resources to plan for a joint online event. (Yes, many sponsors can be shown, but the financial burden of multiple organizers falls on one organization.)
With some technical improvements to expand the breadth of potential uses of this software platform, and some better flexibility in marketing plans, this platform has great potential for use by small non-profit organizations as well as expanding its use by large-budget organizations.

Really quick and easy to use
The conference I attended was…
The conference I attended was professional and actually better than being there in person. The facilities to break out and discuss with individuals or groups as well as view the main event was very useful. An ability to do this not in real time would be advantageous too
Great Conferencing Tool
Overall, Hopin was great. Loved the ability to make it really feel like a conference with having the main stage, conference rooms, and sponsor rooms. Chatting function was great and overall the quality of sound and visuals worked. well. The one suggestion would be to allow a practice run prior to the actual event. There were a few things that you wouldn't really know to tell others how to do without actually doing a test run, so there was some trial by error.

Fantastic platform
Hopin is just the right platform for large, multi-activity events. I was able to learn how to navigate easily and quickly moved into networking, classes, or general sessions. I would recommend it for any large group.
UserFriendly
This platform is UserFriendly for both the BackEnd & the Attendees. (Yes, I capitalized UserFriendly because when talking of that attribute, it is a proper noun when referring to HopIn.)
We are glad that we purchased a year's worth of Hopin to facilitate conferences and PD all year long.

I used Hopin when I attended a digital conference. Everything worked smoothly, it has good features and is very user-friendly. I have already recommended the tool to others.

Hopin Makes Virtual Events More Like Real Ones
I first experienced Hopin at a conference for Skilljar and had a great experience. For virtual conferences, Hopin's feature that allows you to chat at random with other conference attendees worked really well and actually made a virtual conference have some of the same hallmarks of a more traditional event. Great stuff - looking to see where this platform goes!
Hopin is Amazing!!
Hopin is Amazing!!! I love this platform. I've attended two virtual conferences on Hopin and everything worked out so well. The experiences were so great, I thought I was actually there in person.
The best virtual platform!
I haven't come across a better platform for virtual conference or networking style events!
Extremely user friendly
I have been on two online seminars now with Hopin and it was extremely easy to navigate between the main stage and the EXPO
