Using Homeward helped us in a number of ways throughout the process. For one, we had a stronger negotiating position when we found the house we wanted. Then, we were able to move in sooner while still working to sell our old house, and since we have small children, this was a real blessing. My account manager Eric Layton was amazing to work with - very transparent throughout the process and I genuinely felt like he had our best interests at heart

While you end up paying more for using Homeward, I believe we ended up saving money in the long run by being able to negotiate our buying price down, avoiding high-cost short-term rentals during the transition, and the credits that Homeward gave us for managing both the title on both sides of the transaction.

Excellent easy to use. Worth recommendation

Overall, we were pleased with the experience. The convenience fee - for us - was just that….it made the purchase possible and made it more convenient for us. We were able to move in to our new home early. My only reservation in giving a 5 star review is that we felt like their financing wasn’t super willing to work with us - until we secured financing elsewhere. Then - they came after us to try to get our business. Not a terrible strategy, but it caused a little unnecessary stress when we were trying to move. I worried about “hidden fees” but we never ran in to anything. Stay in communication with the person that is assigned to you! I cannot stress this enough - they are there to help and will advocate for you. They have done it before (at least the gentleman assigned to us - jerome - had) and he was so helpful…even talked me down when I was freaking out and wondering if I had done the right thing. Bottom line - Homeward was right for us - no hidden fees - great customer support - a little pushy about using their financing (which we did not and it was still great with no hidden fees)

Agents please save your reputation and stay away from Homeward. They only care about your referrals and will treat you and your customers like trash. Please read their employee reviews on Glassdoor to see what kind of company they are. They have ruined the reputation of two of my closest allies in Real Estate and lost our clients thousands in Earnest Money Deposits for their lack of care. Please do your research and read the truth from their employees. They are only still in business to steel money from their investors, you won't see them next year.

We had a horrible experience with this company. We had trouble getting anyone to call us back to answer questions. The people were very communicative till we signed the contract and that's when it ended. The paperwork was far off what the final paperwork said. It took 5 months for our other house to sell and the rent was outrageous. They made us pay all the taxes even though we were only ther 3 months of the year. The housing market was tough at this time which contributed to the problems sell our other house.

All the people that we worked with were very supportive and helpful.

Gave us an option to compete for our dream home as a cash buyer.

The service fees/rental rate was higher, but the approval process was simple. Happy to use homeward to get our new home before having to sell our old home.

BUYER BEWARE!!!!!

We thought homework was going to be a great option. After using my home as collateral, selling it, and then trying to finance the home that we bought with them, we learned my husband's job is going to be obsolete and they were transferring him out of state. I was balance between three different people who didn't seem to know what was going on, and just skip very minimal invoices. Nothing in detail. I have yet to speak to a person over the phone. It's all by email. if you want to get hit with hidden fees at the end and terrible communication by all means, go with them, but I would steer clear.
