I found a good handyman that fixed my bathroom fan. I recommend the service.

The whole team from start to finish has been exceptional. The patience they had when we had issues on our side was unexpected but greatly appreciated. Ryan was a life saver on our possession date as he went above and beyond to ensure that we got our keys. He took time out if his busy schedule to come back later in the afternoon with keys when he didn't have to. I am very appreciative of his support through this.

I was looking for two years for help . Then i saw your add o t.v. tried it and am so very happy with this help got my fence fixed and my yard work done .I hope to have this help for as long as i need. P. S. I am 89 years old so it could be long or short Ha Ha..... Wish I had seen the add sooner.

I posted my project on the site, and someone contacted me through the platform. This person, operating under the name Provincial Services Ltd, was extremely rude and unprofessional. He repeatedly lied and kept trying to change what we had agreed on using different excuses. If I had not kept proof of what he said, he would not have admitted anything, and I would not have been able to prove our original agreement.

He left the job unfinished and pressured me into paying half of the agreed amount. I already suspected he had no intention of returning because he had lied about living close to me, but he insisted that he would come back. The next day, he messaged me saying he would not return.

Fortunately, I quickly found a professional through a reputable company and had the job completed. However, when I contacted HomeStars and complained about the conduct and poor work of the person who contacted me through their platform, their only response was to tell me to leave him a review.

This shows that they do not properly monitor or take responsibility for the people using their platform. If you end up dealing with an unsuitable contractor, you are apparently on your own.

This was a very bad experience, and it was definitely the last time I will trust HomeStars.

This is not good company. They promise a million when you are about to buy but after they receive your money. No one wants to talk to you. Warranty sucks. Quality is is very poor.
My relative purchased brand new home about 4 years ago. Ever since, his basement leaks water with every little rain. Each time, Trico comes with different excuses.
This house is 66 Creekstone path sw. 40 yrs home has better quality.

Useful service, but very poor in identifying local contractors. The "distance" value was way off. I prefer to hire local (and Contactors save gas).

I posted asking for someone to cut my lawn. I got several replies to choose from. I chose one with references and they came the next day and did an excellent job!! The company I hired was Triple K Landscaping!! I highly recommend them!!

Finding the service providers for specific jobs in a very timely manner.

We had an emergency plumbing situation. Jordan from Drain King plumbers arrived as scheduled. He explained everything clearly and did the work efficiently and in a timely manner. He went over the finished work with us and removed the old materials. Everything is working great!

Found a company to do the work I needed. They finished the job on time and on budget.

Fikrat was wonderful, he did a fantastic job and I was very happy, he was very helpful with information as well. I will use him again and again.

I have used home stars several times and was happy to find contractors and get my work completed. In these times with so many scams it gives me some peace of mind that I am getting a trustworthy contractor
