Avoid, believe the reviews!!!

Charge for their time even when they have not bought the right tools with them (tile drill bits etc) and when I rang to complain was emailed back following an "internal audit" who says it's all absolutely fine... Utter crooks.

Avoid this company - Crooks & Liars!!

Crooks! This company is filled with liars and unprofessional people. We paid an upfront deposit via Amex (with an extra £6 fee) for a gas heater check. They first promised to come between 9 AM and 1 PM, then changed to 12 PM–4 PM. Eventually no one came even after 4 PM. They called saying they can come the next day. The next day at 8 AM, they called saying they were outside, but no one was there. When we called them to see where they were, they claimed the payment didn’t go through so they drove off, despite successfully charging our card!! Avoid this company at all costs! They lack professionalism and honesty.

Avoid if you want a decent service

Engineer came to do a routine boiler service but left one of the valve in the incorrect position (which they even showed me photos of but refused to accept it was them - not sure how...) which left me without hot water for 3 days. When he returned to fix it, they sent me another invoice for £144 despite the fact that it was clear from the photos that it was on them. The customer services rep I dealt with (Dan) was extremely unprofessional and rude, constantly telling me that it was clearly my fault and I must have moved the valves myself, despite literally having provided photos showing otherwise.

Utter crooks

Utter crooks. Contacted then 3 weeks ago regarding getting them in to fix a leaky tap. After a series of delays and hastily rearranged appointments they come on a sat when the wholesaler isn't open so they cannot complete the job. Paid £180 for them to take the tap apart, turn the water off and put it back together again. Had to wait 3 weeks without hot water for them to order the part, only for the engineer to arrive 4 hours late to tell me that the part he ordered was wrong and didn't fit. Literally again all he did was take the tap apart and put it together again. I told them that I wouldn't be paying for the second visit and after raising a dispute with the firm- find out that they've just gone in a taken the money from my account anyway- meaning that I've been charged £320 for them to have done absolutely nothing and to still have a leaky tap! Honestly, despicable behaviour and I'd strongly recommend that people go elsewhere for their plumbing services.

STAY AWAY!!!!!!!!

Do not even think about using this company! Take money before they turn up after rescheduling twice then turn up and take less than 30 seconds to say its to late in the day to do this job and charge you £120 plus vat( even tho they were ask if that included vat which they said yes) actually charged £144. The people we talked to on the phone was rude and all they say is send an email! Stuart the plumber was rude and condescending
HONESTLY STAY AWAY FROM THEM!

Like others have stated

Like others have stated, it takes a lot for me to write a negative review but as others have also found, this company has no customer service and are unscrupulous.

We have 2 dishwasher that both suddenly started leaking, pipework looked like it was the obvious culprit.

Engineer turned up late, didn't make the morning appointment and came in the afternoon when my wife needed to do the school run.

Failed to fix the problem but instead ended up fixing a kinked overflow pipe under the sink. Which then led to a new waste being fitted.

The engineer had to go to get parts twice which then delayed the school pickup and cost us money as they charge based on time, those two visits probably cost us £300.

All in all, to replace the sink waste cost us £636.

In anyone's book that is appalling.

Highly Advise You Look Elsewhere!

If I could give less than one star, I would.

Highly recommend you DO NOT go with these guys.
The initial call and service is great and they offer you a great service, only to then give a 4 hour time window, not call you and lead you to call them to say they cannot make it due to "significantly delayed on previous job".
Fine, it happens - then to say we will be with you tomorrow, to take another day off work to then have the same thing happen again where less than an hour before the end of the timeslot they say they cannot get to you again despite you requesting the engineer visits you first to avoid the same situation that happened the previous day.

Appalling customer service and such a lack of concern for the end user.

I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND YOU LOOK AT ALTERNTIVE OPTIONS TO SAVE DISAPPOINTMENT

Unreliable. Don't bother.

Well, only the second time I've tried to use them. First time was OK - under plumbingforce. On this occasion they came up with some convoluted story about a road block getting to the first job ... and they were calling me at 11.00 ... when the appointment was between 8am and 12noon.

In my opinion they are unreliable.

Terrible company, AVOID AT ALL COSTS

Terrible company and it’s actual fraud what they do!! I’m calling my credit card company as they took money off my card with no authorisation. It was supposed to be a £120 fix rate for service and they actually took £336 without even telling me rates it agreeing to this. There was a small leak that we just found but was due a service. All this was told and we were told £120 still. They didn’t even fix boiler and wouldn’t contact manufacturer to get sorted. We were given a £660 invoice to fix the issue and the manufacturer was amazing and fixed it in less than 30 minutes for free!! I’m still waiting to hear from them about over charging me! AVOID AT ALL COSTS! Plumbing force used to be amazing but this is not plumbing force!! They bought their name!!

open gas fire…

Arranged to have my open gas fire repaired because it would't ignite engineer took pictures of the appliance and numbers and said I required these parts and would come back I later received the final invoice and on the invoice it stated do not need to return. yet the gas fire is still not working £144.00 down the drain. Despite only spending 10 mins in my house.

Had a young lad fit a fire done a lovely job but while he was here took a phone call in my time. Which according to them made my time go 12 min over the 2 hrs
So they are charging me another £72 for this which i have tried to point out to them
Dan mc donald the manager will not believe me when i try and tell him saying that if he had not taken this call it would have been with in my time and the bill should have been £288 and not £360 i have him on the doorbell on the phone and his constant back and forth to his van. , then he had trouble lighting it as he for got to turn gas back on which wasted more time
Feel its very unfair to get charged for him on the phone
He was quite slow at times as he said he gets paid by the hour

Chaotic scheduling and very expensive with limited post call-out customer service

I used Homesolutions4u to provide a service of my boiler having recently moved into a new property. It’s a bit of a chaotic firm. The engineer was meant to arrive between 8 am - 12 pm on the day. I received a call to say he was running late and that it would now be between 1-5 pm. Two minutes later, I received a call to say they need to reschedule the engineer to another day entirely. The engineer was very polite and thorough. No issues were found. The engineer was at the house for an hour. Afterwards, I received an invoice charging £218 (even though we had agreed to £99 plus VAT after their scheduling issues). I rang the office to challenge the fee and was told to send an email instead. And now we wait for the answer … though based upon the reviews on Trustpilot, I am not overly optimistic.

Unless you have a real emergency and are totally desperate, I would encourage using a local plumber and shopping around a bit.

gas fire safety…not done!

I booked them for a gas fire safety check. They cancelled 4 times and one the 5th visit they turned up and the engineer said he couldn't service the fire as the coals were old and needed replacing. He said that there was no charge for the visit. Of course they charged in full for the visit and of course would charge again for the follow up. I have since found that he could have serviced the fire and then when the new coals arrived I could have replaced them myself without charging another £144 for the visit.

DO NOT USE THIS FIRM!!!

I very rarely get to the stage where I am so angry that I have to write a negative review. This company hides under many brands including Plumbing force. They are outright robbers, incompetent and so arrogant that they don't even want to speak to thier clients to try and resolve an issue.

Called in as an emergency to fix heating and water. After 6 hours, a wash through the entire system to supposedly clear out sludge and a bill for £2K which was partially debited without authority. Still no resolution. In the end it was a electrical problem with the control box which hadn't even been investigatverything else in the 6 hours was unnecessary. Made an offer to them ro reimburse 50% for easy settlement. Not accepted and no counter offer. Just avoid them at all costs!

Terrible company

Like just about everyone else has said....total rip off company. Needed a repair to Aqualisa shower. Googled the Aqualisa name and this company's number came up. Rang and they confirmed they did repair Aqualisa showers. Guy came out looked at it and said "You have an Aqualisa shower. It is broken." I had told him that. He then said he had to contact Aqualisa, source the part and come back another time to repair it - at approximately £100 per hour. He did say I could source the part myself and replace it myself. I chose that option.
Charged me £150.00 for under 10 minutes to tell me what I already knew. They don't fix they diagnose or charge you twice to actually do the work you hired them for!

Extremely expensive and poor service

Called up home solutions to get someone to come out and look at my boiler as had no heating. They quoted me £99 + VAT for the call out. I said I would chat to my partner and call them back. Call them back a few days later and they tried to charge me £120 + VAT. They luckily honoured the previous price, but still. The guy shows up and says I need a new PCP board and quoted £660+VAT!!! He said I could book and pay there and then and have it done the next day. I said I would think about it. I called a different company and they came out and fixed it, replaced the part and charged me only £170+VAT. This was for the exactly the same service and part that needed fixing. Horrendous company. AVOID!!!
