I am locked into a perpetual contract…
I am locked into a perpetual contract for resorts that are excessively expensive and do not offer adequate value. Despite submitting their "Horizons form," I have received any reply.
Prepaid package from HELL
I bought a prepaid vacation that I was told I could book at anytime. Now they are telling me I'm lying, that was never said, and stole my money. Snakes. Never will stay at another IHG hotel again in my LIFE.
Don’t do it!!
Bought the membership and then we couldn’t book any rooms at the resort we wanted, even 9 months out from our planned vacation. Non-members can book for cash with no problem. Save the money and just pay as you go!

Do not sign up for there timeshare I was mislead and blatantly lied to in order to persuade me into purchasing this timeshare, I called the company and told them about the deceptive tactics used during the transaction and I was told the Sales rep (MOE) that sold me my vacation package was fired from the company as a result of his actions. But they won't let me out of my contract even after firing him for lying. This company is a joke
Don't Sign up with Holiday Inn Club Vacations
Signing up with this company is a decision we deeply regret. The value of what we received does not equate to the amount we are paying, and the overall experience has been awful. When we emailed them, we were informed that our only options are to sell the product or give it away, which we find to be an impossible and unsatisfactory resolution.
Terrible
The reality of what we received does not match what was sold to us. The costs are disproportionate to the quality and availability of the resorts and access promised. Furthermore, the company refuses to allow us to terminate our membership. I strongly advise against anyone doing business with this company.
Holiday Inn has shown no concern…
Holiday Inn has shown no concern regarding the membership they sold under false pretenses. They insist the only solution is for us to sell it to another party, but the associated fees make this impossible

I submitted a request to cancel my services via their website over a month ago but received no response. It has been incredibly difficult trying to contact someone for assistance, and I deeply regret signing up for this membership. After finally getting an email response, they informed me that I am unable to close my account.

You are awful maintenance fees go up every year I can’t wait to get rid of it how are you people even in business
My experience with Holiday Inn Club…
My experience with Holiday Inn Club Vacations has been extremely disappointing. The initial sales presentation felt like a misleading bait-and-switch tactic. Compounding this dissatisfaction, the fees for utilizing the resorts are excessively high, offering poor value for the cost. Above all, I am concerned about feeling permanently obligated, as the contract appears to be perpetual.
Respectfully,

A Total Farce
A Total Farce – Lied to, Overcharged, and Trapped
I am completely sick of the runaround from this company. I bought this contract for stress-free vacations, but it has been a multi-year nightmare. The dates I want are never available, and the RCI conversion is a scam—they failed to mention you have to pay extra cash on top of your points. I was promised a Williamsburg property, but was deeded to Orange Lake just to hit me with higher maintenance fees. Even when I finally visited, the room wasn't ready until 5:00 PM. I have been trying to cancel for years, but they refuse to even take the contract back. This is a total farce. Stay away from them, don’t fall for their lies.
I wish I could leave no stars
I wish I could leave no stars. This is a total Ponzi scheme based on lies, deception and emotional manipulation. Anyone who is a part of this company should hang their heads in shame. They show you a bunch of places you can go for low points but they do it from an account with well over a million points which working class people will never be able to afford… but they don’t tell you that. The result is that Hard working families end up paying for rich people to vacation. The rich members, Ponzi scammers at the top of the pyramid, get to vacation for low points and they even get free weeks! The nerve of these Ponzi liars. Meanwhile, us low point peasants people at the bottom pay the high maintenance fees, despite getting no vacations and then they charge a membership fee on top of that. You pay thousands up front and then they bleed you out over the years for fees that you should not even be paying because your points get you nothing. You can never book anything at all because the top Ponzi pyramid troglodytes take everything in advance so there is nothing left for the little guys (us hard working families). It is such a scam and they are such jerks. Buyers beware. This was our biggest regret ever. If they actually believed that their useless points were worth anything then they would stand behind a full refund… but they don’t. People are just letting them go after spending thousands of dollars for nothing because they know that all they have to look forward to is “death by a thousand cuts” and no vacations at all. Shame on you Holiday Inn. This scam of yours won’t last forever. Spend the money on a hot tub folks and don’t waste your time on these “let them eat cake” fraudsters.
While the initial presentation of this…
While the initial presentation of this timeshare purchased in 2023 suggested a straightforward and enjoyable ownership experience, the reality has proven to be significantly more complex and financially taxing. Contrary to being led to believe there would be a single payment, owners were unpleasantly surprised with two separate mortgages and two maintenance/fees, which have steadily increased, transforming the timeshare into an unforeseen financial burden. Furthermore, the promise of ease of use has not been met, as securing reservations at desired times and locations is consistently difficult, rendering the product frustratingly impractical for travel, especially in light of recent lifestyle changes that limit my ability to travel as initially envisioned. I would not recommend doing ANY business with Holiday Inn.
My husband and I are a retired couple…
My husband and I are a retired couple who have been members of Orange Lake Resorts / Holiday Inn Club Vacations since our original Silverleaf purchase in Tyler, Texas. Over the years we upgraded multiple times and eventually converted to a points-based system in 2019 — a decision we deeply regret. After the Holiday Inn acquisition, the resort we loved changed completely. Amenities like the boat dock were removed, the family atmosphere disappeared, and booking our own unit became virtually impossible despite paying for it in full.
Every visit came with relentless pressure to attend "update" meetings that were nothing more than high-pressure sales presentations lasting up to six hours. Our worst experience occurred in Gatlinburg, where a sales representative retained our driver's license for the duration of a six-hour meeting and threatened to charge our credit card if we declined a follow-up session the next day. We were told no exit program existed — contradicting our own disclosure documents. We were misled about inheritance liability for our children. We were told we had to buy more points just to keep the ones we had already paid for. The same salesman claimed to be a minister after we mentioned our faith, and we overheard another rep making the identical claim to a nearby couple.
Exhausted and misled, we signed a contract that night and rescinded it the next morning. We invested in good faith over many years in what we believed was a sound and honest company. What we received instead were broken promises, eliminated amenities, and manipulative high-pressure tactics targeting a retired couple. We do not recommend this company to anyone.
Owe for generations
Despite paying them thousands of dollars, we have never used the membership. They are unwilling to work with us on any cancellation option and seem only interested in continuing to collect our payments.
Unresponsive timeshare cancellation request
We were fundamentally misled regarding the product we purchased; the delivered product does not match what was sold to us. The expenses are excessive and do not correspond to the inferior quality of the resorts or the limited access we were promised. Compounding this issue, the company is obstructing our attempts to cancel our membership. I must strongly caution others against doing business with this company.
Despite my attempts via email and…
Despite my attempts via email and phone, they refuse to take any accountability or offer assistance. They trap you in a contract and then make it impossible to cancel. Not excited about the service of the company.
Extremely Poor Customer Service
The customer service is extremely poor. After submitting a contact request form, it took them over a month to finally respond, only to tell us that our only options are to sell or gift the item. The value we are receiving does not in any way justify the high charges.
Buyer BEWARE
Do NOT get pressured into buying into this $249 investment where they tell you lies. I was told it was transferable (LIE). This company scammed me for $249. I cancelled in less than 24 hours and got an automated email that you cannot reply to saying I’m out the money. Non refundable and non transferable. SCAM
