We had a lovely holiday here. It was a great location, beautiful views, very peaceful. We would highly recommend a stay here.
We did find the shower to be temperamental and the upstairs taps took an age for water to come through.

The cottage is set in the tranquil countryside enveloped by nature. The hospitality was amazing and we had the perfect reset. Time together, reading, dining out and chilling. A fabulous few nights away.

Great location, comfortable furnishings and equipment. The garden was a treat for our dog.

A great holiday in a super location with parking. House was very comfortable, didn't need TV in all bedrooms but it was there if you did. Lovely comfortable beds and nicely laundered bed linen. Fans provided for warm nights. Great drying area in the enclosed back yard and alfresco eating. Plenty of cutlery, crockery and fridge,freezer capacity. A well thought out family property. Up a fairly steep hill, great for improving fitness over your stay. Gorgeous views over Porthmeor beach and Closgy point. Book8ng with holiday cottages is simple and they are always at the end ofvthe phone if you need them

Quite and peaceful place. Large garden so can BBQ in various places. Quite easy to drive to various parts of Wales. Easy to book.

Very well equipped comfortable cottage which was a lovely base to explore the Cotswolds and visit family in Cheltenham. Host was very welcoming and approachable if we needed anything. The only downside was the very busy road the property is on which meant walking our dog along with my 4 year old was impossible so we had to take the car our every time for a walk which was a shame. The road was also very loud from inside the property especially with the windows open or in the garden. The other down side is the deafening noise from RAF Fairford due to the US air traffic to Iran. We were woken by the sound of B1 bombers taking off which was so loud it shook the house. This was very scary especially for my son and our dog. It’s a shame because the property is lovely but this and the busy road has put us off using it again as a base to visit family.

Fabulous place to stay, sleepy, relaxing, lots of hills, views amazing, close to nature, wildlife. Kind hosts. Friendly people. Hot tub lovely.

Cherry Tree House in Murton, was beautiful and perfectly situated, only 8 minutes to York in a car. It was more than we expected, Garden and indoor/outdoor area was lovely too. My Dad has mobility issues, so having bedrooms and bathroom downstairs was great. We felt comfortable, the house and gardens have a nice relaxing ambience. Very well equipped kitchen. Can’t fault the property or garden. Owner was so lovely to. We want to go back. Thank you for letting your beautiful property out. We had a great time.

Reviews clearly engineered to be more positive than reality

Lovely, comfortable cottage with a beautiful garden in a quiet location within easy reach of shops in Ambleside or Hawkshead. Wonderful walks from the door down to Windermere or up Latterbarrow Hill for panoramic views. Loved kayaking and the Ambleside parkrun.

We had a fantastic stay at this lovely holiday cottage as a family of five with three children. The outdoor space was a huge hit with the kids, who spent hours playing and exploring. The owner was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The location is beautiful, with lovely beaches nearby and plenty of things to see and do. We’d definitely recommend it and would love to stay again!
