I will never trust this company please…

I will never trust this company please don't book any flight. They attract you with cheap flights and make you pay for it then they tell you that flight you pay isn't not booked yet and you are on waiting list which you might be available two days before flights departure time. At the same time they pushing to buy different expensive flights. You will be fighting everyday with them to cancel your booking as they don't give the flight you paid for.
The guy called himself Brad the most herendous guy I ever talked to.
My advice is DON'T BOOK ANY FLIGHT WITH THIS Company.
Always pay by visa or MasterCard because this is the only way you can get your money back from these scavengers

I also fell into the trap

I also fell into the trap. Bought tickets in good faith but then they called to say it was seating only and have to pay much more for luggage and meals. They won't refund.
Avoid at all costs, I was directed to them via flight comparison site called Jetcost.co.uk.

If we collectively contact trading standards and watchdog on Monday, maybe we may get some support ?

Avoid at any costs

Unfortunately, the same situation has happened to me as the others. This company promises to issue tickets within 48 hours, but no tickets received. Spoken to them twice and both times they demand more money and refusing to cancel. I am so shocked and don’t know what to do and where to get any help from. Avoid, avoid.

Avoid Holiday Cart – Scam Alert!

I strongly advise against using Holiday Cart for booking flights. Our experience was nothing short of a nightmare. They displayed one price but later demanded additional money to release the tickets—essentially holding them hostage.

We tried contacting them through phone and email multiple times, but it was impossible to get a proper response. They ignored our concerns and left us without any real resolution. This company operates with dishonest pricing and terrible customer service.

Do not trust them! Save yourself the stress, frustration, and potential financial loss. Stay away from Holiday Cart.

Avoid at all cost

On February 17, 2025, I purchased flight tickets for myself and my son through Holidaycart.net. They promised to issue the tickets within 48 hours, as stated in the booking confirmation.

Now that it is February 19, the 48-hour timeframe has elapsed, and I still have not received the tickets. Holidaycart’s explanation that these are airline promotional fares is unacceptable. If they were unable to secure the tickets, they should never have provided a booking confirmation in the first place. When I spoke with an agent, I was told to wait 10 to 15 days to see if they could secure the fare, contrary to my agreement. I refused this request, as I should not be left in limbo.

The fact is that 48 hours have passed without any tickets being issued. Holidaycart is obligated to provide a full refund since they have failed to fulfill their contractual obligations. Despite my numerous emails and calls to Holidaycart, I have yet to receive any confirmation regarding the processing of my refund.

I find Holidaycart’s practices to be completely untrustworthy. Had I reviewed the feedback on this site beforehand, I would not have proceeded with this booking.

I will contact the airline and relevant regulatory authorities to report Holidaycart's unethical practices and ensure that this issue is addressed.

Very competitive fare

I just booked a flight for a very good price, around 35 GBP lower than other OTAs.
Currently waiting the 48-hours for the e-Ticket to be issued and I really hope they will make it.
Please don't disappoint me!

Booked twice, never received my tickets.

We used Holidaycart to book tickets twice and both times the issue was exactly the same - we did not receive our e-tickets. I had to call their support lines in Australia and the UK in order to get a refund. Don't waste your time with them. I know their prices are the cheapest by far, but you won't get anything anyway, so save yourselves the time and book through another provider.

Urgent Issue Resolved by William

I booked my ticket last minute and didn’t realise it didn’t include luggage. I was soo stressed, but fortunately, was able to connect with your London office and speak with William. It was a pleasure talking to him—he resolved the issue immediately and, more importantly, was sincere and empathetic. What a gentleman!

Just don’t! An outrageous SCAM!

We decided to book flights to Thailand via Holidaycart. We received an email that our tickets within 48 hours, which did not happen. We contacted them via the provided email address and the day after we got another email that WE should call them to discuss further arrangements. Needless to say, we didn’t want any arrangements to be made, we just wanted to get the e-tickets, which we have paid for.
The next day we also got a reply to our email that the phone number we provided was not reachable, so we should call them. This was an absolute lie, we triple-checked and on the of that we once again send them our contact details. Since then we tried contacting them via chat and two different email addresses, all without success.
Finally, as we were pressed by the time, we made the call and they explained that they were „not able to issue the ticket“, so they will be initiating a refund.
I have never encountered such unprofessional and inadequate behaviour (and we travel a lot with low-cost airlines, which are not known for their exceptional customer support). Demanding the customer to call, when there is not inquiry from our side and not delivering what was paid for, is absolutely unacceptable!
Not only we were denied the tickets which we bought, but now we are facing the bill for the overseas call, which we were forced to make and the charged for the refund.

*And yes, we did try to contact them at the provided in the reply email address, but no answer. They did not pick up their phones. Very disappointing!

I am extremely disappointed with my…

I am extremely disappointed with my experience with holidaycart.net. I purchased a ticket through them and paid £663.95, only to be hit with unexpected charges later on. After completing the booking process, I was informed that I needed to pay extra money just to have the ticket issued. This sudden demand for additional funds felt like a bait-and-switch tactic.

To make matters worse, I later discovered that my ticket does not come with any luggage allowance—even though at no point during the purchase process was this mentioned. I was shocked to learn that I wouldn’t be able to bring any luggage, a detail that is critical for any traveller and should have been made clear upfront.

Overall, the lack of transparency and the additional unexpected costs have left me feeling misled and frustrated. I would caution anyone considering holidaycart.net to be very careful and to read every detail of your purchase, as important information may be hidden or omitted until after you’ve committed to the booking. This experience has certainly eroded my trust in their services. I have yet to receive my ticket or refund.

Absolutely the worst experience I have…

Absolutely the worst experience I have ever had with a travel company. I bought a ticket not knowing that it was not a guaranteed ticket. I paid the entire amount and was told via a follow up email and phone call that it would be "pending for up to 48 hours" until the airline confirmed whether it could sell the ticket at that price. Despite reading the T & Cs before purchased the ticket, I did not know this ticket was not a guaranteed ticket when I purchased it!

HolidayCart then reassured me that if it would not be confirmed within 48 hours, I would receive a 100% refund. I reluctantly decided to wait for 48 hours.

After 48 hours, they advised that it was "still pending" and they had no authority to provide me with a refund. They told me that it could be "pending" up until 48 hours BEFORE THE FLIGHT DEPARTED.

I booked a ticket to the USA departing on 7 March, which meant I could potentially have to wait for over a month (5 March) before I would know if I am flying to the USA or not. At which time, I would be unlikely to be able to get another fare at a similar price.

They also advised me that I could not take on any bags, including hand luggage, on the flight. This was not in their T & Cs. HolidayCare advised me that I would need to pay $35 PER KG for hand luggage or checked in bags with this ticket.

I was absolutely appalled by their behaviour, as nothing was not clearly stated in their T & Cs or on their website. When I questioned them about this ambiguity, they relied on the fact that information was not available, nor on the booking, and therefore I "should have known" it was not included.

All their behaviour was dishonest and untrustworthy. They misrepresented information by omitting it from their T & Cs and their website.

I will never recommend anyone use this travel company. Only use reputable companies that have clear T & Cs and they honour their word and reputation.
