Cancelled my order without any explanation on the day it was due for delivery.

I ordered what they have listed as Kneadatite Blue/Yellow Green Stuff Epoxy Putty.

Anyone who's serious about hobbying knows that Kneadatite is a specific type of green stuff that was made in a specific factory, a factory that has now shut down as of a few weeks ago.

As such Kneadatite is becoming more and more difficult to source. So when I found Kneadatite on this website, I was delighted and bought a fair amount of it.

This is NOT the original recipe Kneadatite that comes in a case. It is regular green stuff similar to what is sold at GSW or Army Painter that use the kneadatite name. Its dry, has an outer shell or layer and wont mix without pieces of hard plastic stuck in it because its old/stored poorly. it arrived in a plastic bag, with the edges exposed which would probably explain why it had dried out.

Hobby Heaven said they would accept the return and inspect the product, but frankly the inconvenience of having to buy packaging and then send it back to them is an inconvenience that I am not willing to facilitate.

Please keep in mind, the product being faulty is one issue, but the main issue is - the product is not the original recipe kneadatite, produced in the US.

Kneadatite is a registered trademark held by Polymeric Systems Inc. associated with a very specific type of green stuff. It is the original product, far superior to other types of green stuff, and recently stopped production.

Edit: the claim in the response that it is all distributed by the same manufacturer is false.

Army Painter as an example produce their Green stuff in Denmark, it’s not produced by the original US manufacturer. It’s not the same product, any miniature sculptor will tell you the same thing.

Additionally they didn’t refute that the product was improperly stored and impacted quality.

A great place for model makers. I found this place recently and have not been disapointed. The selections of stuff is great and the prices are really good to. I ordered some stuff on line and it was here in a couple of days, well wrapped and packaged. No fuss, no hassle. Many thanks guys. You will be seeing me again :)

Local shop. Very nice and surprising well stocked german armour kits. Very helpful and knowledgeable staff. Prices are very competitive with other on line hobby shops. Enjoy getting my kits from them.

Have bought a lot of bases etc through their eBay store in the past, always very fast delivery. Just ordered some brushes and a few other bits and bobs from their own website, prices were very good, delivery was extremely quick, brushes were well protected in individual protective sleeves

Sent 2 items in same package, having return both items in same package (quality issue on bases - heavy mould lines), seller only refunded 1. Ignored any requests for a refund on both. Left negative eBay feedback & they have somehow removed it. eBay shows 16 cases of revised negative feedback for this company.

In response to sellers response - I feel my review is completely warranted given the fact you only paid for 1 return label, as there was only 1 parcel, because you sent… drum roll - 1 parcel. Yet you were quite happy to deduct £8 for that single large letter.

As for fraudulent, advertising a photo of a base with smooth sides and then sending something that looked like it had been made on a early 2000’s filament printer is quite frankly the definition.

Order received day after placed, very speedy delivery, very well packaged and exactly as advertised. Would recommend.

Good quick service and even gave some free samples on what was already a small order. Will happily use again.

Amazing products and delivery

The few reviews on Trustpilot made me skeptical of placing an order but I went ahead and made it anyway. I’m extremely pleased I did as they have a great selection of brushes in stock (one of the only sites I could find that had all of the brush sizes of the brand I needed in stock and ready to ship in one order), the rates for express postage were extremely cheap, a whopping £1.30 and it arrived the next day, most sites are charging £4.99 for the same service! The brushes also came in protective tubes to keep them safe during shipping. All around great experience which I didn’t expect, I will be back in the near future to order more!

This company has terrible customer service. Justin is not a good business owner. When a customer has a legit complaint, he should learn how to deal with it properly. Justin was not polite nor was he business like. I tell anyone whom lives in the Rhode Island area not to do business with Justin, or this place at all. I'm not happy at all.

Ordered 5 paint brushes from Hobby Heaven. After opening the box and realizing there were only 4 brushes, I emailed about it. After a long-winded reply about how I was most definitely sent everything because of all the checks and double checks that their shipments go through, I was told I was 'blacklisted' from ever ordering from them again. To be fair, the 5th brush was packed separately from the other 4 and I had thrown it away without realizing. I found it and let them know that they were right, but also that blacklisting customers for asking about a single missing item is not okay and a terrible customer service practice. Even if I could order from them again, which I cannot since I'm blacklisted now, I wouldn't.

I couldn't ask for better service and a fantastic selection of hobby products (some real gems on this site just take a look could spend hours myself).

My order arrived next day all neatly and securely packed, ordered several AK Interactive 3rd gen paint sets lovely products fantastic paint great bottle designs with beautiful box art work, communication from Michal is top notch very friendly and has been very helpful.

I wouldn't hesitate to order again or recommend Hobby Heaven to anyone and I already have done so to several friends, will be visiting the site again soon to buy some more goodies.
