James (007) made for a knowledgeable, friendly and entertaining guide for the 2.5 hour tour. There were plenty of photo opportunities. The scenery and set are outstandingly beautiful. We can highly recommend this tour. Mr & Mrs Blue Suede Shoes!
We purchased the Backlot Tour which was superb the guide Haley was informative witty and charming just what is needed for a three hour tour. The attention to detail was excellent and interaction with tourists great we cannot recommend the Hobbiton experience more highly.
I purchased a two and a half hour guided tour. The staff are all incredibly professional and make sure to be open to create a magical experience for me on the tour. The place is absolutely phenomenal and they allow you to take as many pictures as possible which is ideal for an adventurous family friendly environment. This is my #1 recommendation for anyone to visit in North New Zealand. The one area of improvement is sometimes the website is slow and glitchy sometimes, so I had a double charge on my card, but it was refunded quickly after emailing the support team.
The whole experience was great. Well organised. Lasts about 90 mins seemed it was over in no time.
