I have been with H&L on 3 separate occasions and on each time they have been brilliant.

If I have any concerns regarding my property all I had to do was drop them an email and they'd get back to me and the problem would be fixed as soon as it could be.

I've never had any concerns regarding these and would recommend them to others.

My experience with this agency was absolutely disgusting. I applied for a flat in which the lady at the front desk said that the flat was mine, *in principle* and that nobody else will be viewing it. She wanted £130 deposit before I was guaranteed the flat, in which I asked for a receipt. She even recommended this. Then the following day she sent me an email saying somebody else's application has taken place, & if they're unsuccessful she'll get back to me. I rang up, and she blatantly lied, & tried to manipulate me, by saying, 'Nobody has ever asked for a receipt before.' I said 'so you're telling me that's hindered the process, as they decided to put someone's application in before mine?' She said, no. It's fine, but another application has gone through!' Then its not fine, is it? She continued to lie, & contradict herself. After they said mine was the only application for the place. The guy who showed us round was arragont, and rude. He even told us to come back the following Monday to complete the application, which in the meantime they had showed somebody else round, & put forth their application, instead. All over asking for a receipt?! Which I'm well within my rights. I wrote them an email saying I'm no longer interested in the flat, because of this whole process. And, the way i've been treated. She wrote back 5 days later in spite, saying it had already been taken. They are absolute time wasters. And, they lie, & manipulate people for a living. I was polite with them, & they reassured that the place was mine, and next minute it wasn't. All because 'I asked for a receipt?!' Pathetic. I would not recommend these to anyone. It really was a lucky escape. I'm glad I've found an amazing place to live, whilst these continue to treat people like crap. Just beware. Nobody deserves to be treated the way we were treated. Hence why I'm leaving this review. And, I've never wrote a review in my life. But, the whole process was absolutely despicable. And, they have no shame. The simply couldn't even be bothered to continue with the process. Be careful. Choose another agency. Because your life will be made hell with people like this. If they treat you like this before you move in, imagine the problems you'll have later down the line? Take care of yourselves, people. Move on to a better agency. All the best.

H & L have been incredible, they managed our home for 4 years and then sold it for us within days of going on the market.

As we are serving in the Armed Forces we needed to move, they found us an amazing tenant, sadly they had to move on. Unfortunately for us all the second (and last) tenant passed all the checks, turned out to be a Nightmare tenant. H & L, and Victoria gave us amazing support throughout the eviction process, their guidance and professionalism were second to none. As my Husband and I were emotionally invested in our home, they supported us throughout with professional and genuine advice. Without them we would have been lost.

We highly recommend H & L, especially if you want to rent your “home” out. With all the stress we went through with the Bad tenant and no doubt put our stress on H & L their support and advice never wavered.

What can I say about this company stealing thieving vile people even my landlord thought they were horrid didnt trust them can post proof of conversation with him don’t trust them weather your Renting or selling bullied me for the last 6 months of tenancy never fix repairs and wen they did charged the earth out extra on top to keep themselves I’ve asked to pick a very important letter up from the property as I’m waiting for biopsy results unfortunately they’ve gone there been told to f@@@off by them how absolutely disgusting!!!!!!! if your the person buying benson road then you need to know conservatory leaks windows leak in side bedroom mould and damp in bedroom wardrobe and side room Donot trust this company at all they are vile …..

This is the second time i have used Hindley and Lamb. Very easy to deal with,Correspondence/ face to face conversations etc concise, easy to understand.
Hindley And Lamb get on with the job of selling quickly efficiently and with no fuss, no matter what the circumstances. Nothing is too much trouble no matter which member of staff you deal with.

Absolutely brilliant letting service as always. Secured us a tenant and carried out checks quickly and professionally. We've used other letting agents in the past but Hindley & Lamb really are the best. Katie responds to emails at lightening speed and sorts out any questions and enquiries we have had. Scott is brilliant and such a nice guy, even helping us out on a Saturday when he wasn't working. Can't recommend them highly enough.

The Best Letting Agent In Town. For over 25 yrs I have owned a number of flats and houses to let in the Blackpool area. I have used a few different agents and can 100% say that Hindley & Lamb are by far the best agent available in the whole Fylde area. They are always ahead of the game , Honest, Knowledgeable and have great contacts. I wouldn't trust my properties to anyone else ever again.
