We decided to have a hike tour in Irland this year. we are searching via google and so we found hillwalk tours. it was an absolut easy way to have a contact with the guys. They answered really quickly and with high professional information. after payment they planed the tour and B&B s for us. the map and all other stuff was so easy to understand and helpfull. a lot of on top information an things to know about the history and architecture was in there. we ask a lot and espeacially Rebekka was a great help, also Camille. we really want to have another hike with hillwalk and will recommand to our friends and family. There were six of us (all female) , ages beween 50 something to 60 something. The tour was the "gentle Dingle" which was very gentle. Enabled us to enjoy the scenery taking our time. It was the first time for all of us to do a walking holiday organised in this way. It was brilliant, only having our day-packs on our back was a small luxury. The tour was well organised to say the least, the B&Bs were much better than we expected, the breakfasts kept us going all day. And the Irish.....well I found my soul people.

we want to inform you about our experience during our journey on the Westhighlandway.
But first we want say thank you to you for your good service. Everything what you have
prepared and planed worked out well. All oft he accomodations were really good, verry
different an spezial.
The landlords were very friendly and we have felt everywehre very comfortable. Also the
luggage transport and the taxi transfer worked our well.
On the way through the highlands we were very impressed about the beautyful hills, valleys
and the nature. Furthermore we could often met nice and friendly people.

It was the first time that we have done such a hicking tour, but we are sure it was not the last
time.
If next time we will make such a journey, with pleasure we would book again with Hillwalktours.

I went hiking with my parents along the Hadrians Wall in September this year. It was the first time that I went hiking and I have to say that Hillwalk Tours made this trip absolutely perfect (this will definitely not be my last hiking trip). They have a superb organisation as far as pre-arrangements are concerned (comprehensive and interesting information material, packing list, things to bear in mind) and we really had the feeling that they have chosen hiking trails and Bed and Breakfasts with great care - we loved all the different types of B&Bs with cordial hosts and the hiking trails are described in great detail (its impossible to get lost ;-)). We particularly enjoyed the magnificent landscape along Hadrians Wall and the hospitality of our hosts as well as quality time spent over dinner with other guests from all over the world.

It just works. They will organize really comfy and above standard accomodation, you get really good preparation material (maps, descriptions .. ) and the luggage transfer is totally transparent. It frees your mind to concentrate on the vacation experience. Strong recommendation

The Great Glen Way is stunning. The landscape is different every day. It is really quiet and the view is great.
Also the B&B's have been lovely.
Charming people welcomed us, tidy houses and a great breakfast.

We had an amazing holiday in Scotland! Accomodations and luggage transfer were well organized so we could enjoy our hikes through the beautiful highlands. The "moderate" walking distances are absolutely doable if your are in "moderate" sporty condition ;-)

We did the 11 day challenging Kerry way tour, and it was really a very enjoyable trip. The written directions were precise, and the guest houses were well sought out - we were always happy with accommodations - of course always accounting for the location (lough acoose was "rustic", but it is in the middle of nowhere, so considering that, it was very comfortable)
Of course nature played its main part at making the whole trip so enjoyable ;-)
We would (and in fact did) recommend this trip, but only to people that have at least some experience with mountaineering, as some parts were "rough".

We hiked for the first time in our lives and chose an easy trip along the fife coastal path. We loved every minute. The B&Bs were georgeous, the hosts most friendly. The path discription was precise and easy to follow (even for us firsties!) and the extra tips for sightseeing or food were great. Having our luggage brought from one B&B to the other always worked out fine. All in all we absolutey loved our holiday and are planning our next trip.

If you enjoy amazing landscapes, great food and drinks, nice people, and a good day's walk, then Hillwalk Tours is for you. The organising of the walking tour and overnight stays including luggage transfer is all done beautifully.
