At Highland Broadband, we believe that connectivity is at the heart of local communities. That’s why, since 2015, we’ve focused on closing the digital divide by rolling out industry-leading gigabit-capable fibre broadband to towns and villages who were otherwise being left behind by other providers. We know that access to ultrafast, reliable broadband is life-changing to so many people – you shouldn’t have to choose between high-quality connectivity or living in the location that you want. Ultrafast broadband gives entire families the freedom to work and play at home, regardless of where home is.

Richard and Jordan turned up on time and were friendly lads. I wasn’t able to make it to the property when they arrived and they were very understanding of this. They got the job done very quick & were professional the whole time they were there. Would definitely recommend highland broadband because of them.

The service in my 18 month contract period has been excellent.
But, I have had to revise my rating down because they just can't to seem to process my request to move to a 'seniors' contract (£29-99), which I did by phone at the start of April.
I've just been emailed to inform me that I'm still getting charged at the old rate of £34-99.
They've also ring fenced themselves in, by making all communication with them by phone, and provide no email address for which to contact them on and ask them WHAT THE HELL IS GOING ON.
This is supposedly a communications company.
I contacted someone after 25 minute who said shw would speak to billing and get back to me,
It's over 4 hours later and I'm still waiting.
I've had an email to say that they've cancelled this months inflated direct debit.
I'm now wondering if they've got the wrong end of the stick and will cut the service off at midnight!
It's 1520 and I'm back on the phone to them to try and find out what's happening.
I'm now number 8 in the queue, so it's quite obvious they just don't have a big enough help desk to cope.
Addendum - 7 May 2026
I've just received an email response from Highland Broadband which highlights exactly what's wrong with a company that's supposedly all about communication.

Good Afternoon Bruce
sorry taken a while to get back in touch, i asked billingh - the billing email address you used, it is not a email billing have - so this would be why you were not getting any responses
hope this helps

Notice the noreply email address.
Some story about my email address being wrong which is FALSE, and no way of contacting Diane to tell her so.
It's not my email address that's wrong, it's the fact that Highland Broadband don't have one that works!

Living in The Scottish Highlands our broadband has always been sketchy.
We decided to move to Highland Broadband after having streaming problems on various viewing platforms. We spoke on the phone and decided on a package, then they booked us in for installation.
The two engineers arrived on time and introduced themselves as Richie and Jordan. They set about the installation quickly, explaining everything they were doing and answered any questions that we had.
I cannot speak highly enough about these two guys: they were personable, polite and the amount of patience they showed to us was amazing. We are both 73 years old and probably not as tech "savvy" as we would like. But the two guys were so patient with us as they explained how to set up and point out all the relevant features in the software and how interface with the Highland Broadband app. They were extremely tidy workers and there was minimal disruption and no mess.
All in all they turned a potentially difficult day for us into a very successful and pleasant experience.
Thanks again to Richie and Jordan.
Cheers

Just renewed my contract with Highland Broadband for another 2 years at a very competitive price. The lady from customer services was extremely helpfull and easy to understand unlike some other suppliers I have used in the past. Never had a problem with the service from the day it was installed so I would highly recommend this company for your broadband supplier.

Darrin came on a Sunday, was thorough and did not leave until all areas of my difficult cottage had good coverage, including my my man cave
He explained everything to me and we moved the satellite routers and my own extenders around to their best advantage
From my experience I would thoroughly recommend Highland Broadband and their follow up service

Highland Broadband - Useless! Slow, intermittent service, doesn't support my wifi-controlled heating or printer (yes, the equipment has been checked!), and poor customer care: no email address and a phone number that isn't properly staffed, and, when you can get through, technicians who make excuses for the company rather than fix the issues. My old Plusnet service was better!
AVOID!
EDIT: After speaking with Matt yesterday, and following his advice, the internet connection is NO better. It continues to cut out (6 times during one online 'chat' with my bank last evening!), and my printer still cannot be 'found' despite now having a new frequency channel. My review stands!
