Massive money grab
Update: Higgsfield responded quickly to this review. I need to correct two points from my original post. I misunderstood a lower upgrade price shown on my account; the annual plan I originally purchased has not had the price reduction I described. I also located a previous reply from support, although that reply did not identify or resolve the issue I was experiencing. I have corrected those claims in fairness to the company. The rest of my feedback stands. The resolution was that Higgsfield fully refunded me.
Original Review:
I've been a power user. I'm on the max plan that gives me 9000 credits per month. I purchased a year's worth when they advertised it as 44% off, and 2 weeks later they lowered the price to lower than the discount I got as the regular price. So I basically over paid by 50% on a one year commitment because predatory advertising. I also purchased a 1 week unlimited pack for a certain model, and using it has been HELL because how much I'm queue throttled on something I purchased. And it's ONE generation at a time, no queuing. What takes 1-2 min if I were using credits, on the unlimited pack I PURCHASED, it takes 25-30min ONE AT A TIME. It completely destroys my workflow and has been a huge time sink. What's worse is that they often hide the unlimited toggle and I have to find it. Last time I couldn't find the unlimited toggle so I emailed their support and they never replied me. I had to find where they had hid it. The unlimited Boolean isn't something that's exposed in their MCP servers so you can't make that an API call. I paid $175 for an unlimited pack and based on my calculus, getting throttled at 15min per gen, I actually CAN'T get even half of my money's worth in credit equivalents if I bench mark off of the subscription, which I am already OVERPAYING for, none of that was explicit in their advertising. Unlimited is extremely limited. It's extremely disappointing how they conduct their promises vs delivery, moving goal posts, hidden curbs.

On the pricing, our plans and promotions are updated regularly, and offers do shift over time, so we understand how frustrating it feels to see a rate change shortly after committing to an annual plan. We're sorry it landed that way, and we'd genuinely like to look at your specific purchase with you directly.
On the unlimited pack, we want to be clear that we don't throttle it. What happens is that generations run through Unlimited mode go into a shared pool, while generations using credits are processed with priority, which is why the speed can differ. This is noted on the Unlimited toggle when you hover over it. We'd be glad to look into your experience specifically to make sure it's behaving as it should.
We'd also like to help with finding the toggle, it isn't hidden on our side, and we want to make sure any earlier message from you didn't go unanswered.
On the API side, to be transparent: Unlimited models and free generations are available only on higgsfield.ai. They don't apply in Supercomputer, MCP, or CLI, and there are no plans to introduce Unlimited mode there, generations in those tools always use your regular plan credits. To use Unlimited models, you'd generate directly on the website, and you can top up credits or upgrade anytime if you need more for those tools. This is outlined on our Pricing page as well.

They charged me silently without ever sending me an email or invoice. I don't like this. I got accidentally aware after 5 months.
Their invoices section shows only last 2 invoices by default, so I could not get aware there that it was 5 invoices actually.
The cancelling process was extremely annoying - almost 10 popups, forced me to answer questions.

Ive been using this software for a while, good image creation product HORRIBLE company and customer service. I got charged before the due date actually was stated online, then I went to customer service to ask why I was charged $50 before the due date, and they pretty much replied with yea they cant give me the money back, I was planning on cancelling it but I guess charged before so they can actually get there money. Extremely greedy company. Also when I asked for help there response was yea we have cancelled your account, we are not giving your money back and you have until the 7th of that month to use your credits, keep in mind it was already the 6th when they replied. Don't how such a successful company has a horrible customer service. Never using it again, trust me I don't recommend to put your card information at all they are sketchy.
