Writing this review as a follow up to my previous experience with Don at Heron Financial. We have used Heron twice both for a Remortgage and a new purchase.

Each time, we were never left in the dark with how the process was going. When the property we were buying fell through, we were able to move the process over to a new house without any issues.

Aidan and Leona recently helped us with the remortgage process as our current mortgage deal was reaching the end of a five year deal. They went through all the information in detail before presenting us with different options. They prioritised looking at a deal which fitted with our needs/wants such as duration and cost and making sure the product was affordable for us. Once they confirmed the best deal available the application was submitted swiftly with an offer coming back within 24 hours. They made the process easy and seamless. We've had a brilliant experience with Heron Financial in dealing with our re-mortgage. We had a slightly bumpy initial route to our first mortgage with another mortgage broker and this has been so easy in comparison! Recently used Heron Financial to sort our mortgage for us, and are super happy with the service we received! We started with Aimee who spent lots of time with us on the phone giving us advice, and a follow up call to look at potential rates and estimates of what we would be paying each month. She answered all questions we threw at her really clearly and took the time to explain things properly. Once we had decided to go ahead, Kane and Zara were then equally helpful at sorting everything out that we would need to get the mortgage process going, all the documents etc. They kept us well informed at all times via phone and email which we appreciated. They were very patient with us even when we decided to put a third application in which delayed the whole process a bit. Ultimately we have ended up with a successful mortgage application and we are fully clued up on all the questions we had, thanks to the team at Heron. We would definitely recommend. Thanks team!

Brennan, Zara and Vinal have all been hugely supportive throughout my mortgage application process - I have felt informed, been kept up-to-date, and communicated with efficiently at all times. They have been understanding to and ensured my needs were met.

I’ve had a great experience working with Heron Financial, particularly with Dalia and Rachel. Communication has been clear and they’ve taken the time to explain everything in a way that’s easy to understand.

Update: Received a call from Heron to followup on this issue, which is appreciated, but it can't change what happened.

Deleting my account today. I had to get a mortgage with them and ended up on a worse deal then ideal because adviser went on holiday without updating my deal or assigning someone else.

Their online portal is useless because it doesn't properly adjust for prepayments. I can't event update remaining mortgage value manually. So the alerts for better deal are useless for me.

There are tons of online calculators that work much better.

We were helped by Zara and Kane who were very professional and helped us through every step. Would definitely use and recommend their services to everyone.

Dalia & Robyn are extremely helpful finding me the best deals with plenty of time to still switch if a better one comes along. Great service from both parts once again.
