Unfortunately, this issue was the result of an incorrect item being purchased at checkout. We shipped exactly what was ordered. While we understand the wrong item was selected, that part of the issue was not on our end.

Once we realized the incorrect item had been purchased, we went out of our way to get the correct item to you as quickly as possible.

We would be happy to help in anyway if you see an easier solution to this.

Horrible customer service

Customer service was largely unhelpful and rude. They promised a refund with waved fees. First of all, I had to put in a claim with my bank to get the refund even though HB swore they refunded me...nope! Second, I still had fees attached to the refund they sent! But I am so tired of working with them that I'll take the extra $20 hit.
Your reply as well only covers ground that was written via email. The phone calls were also unpleasant and promises for waved fees were given that were not accommodated. What was provided to me by HB Sports was simply the minimal level of customer service that should have been provided. I got my new bat, it works great, but not an HB made product anyways haha. Had to put in a dispute with my bank in order to get the refund because it did not come in as the timeline promised. This is the first one star review I have ever left as I generally like to help businesses. But I also will help purchases be smart when necessary.

This review is not an accurate depiction of what took place with this order.

The order was placed using UPS Ground shipping. Since you are located on the West Coast and we are on the East Coast, that shipping method typically takes 7–10 business days. That timeframe is clearly stated on our website, reflected in the shipping option selected at checkout, and was also communicated multiple times by email.

In an effort to help resolve the situation, we even sent a replacement bat overnight at no additional charge, which you received the very next day.

Once your return was received, we processed the refund immediately. Depending on your bank, refunds can sometimes take 3–4 business days to post back to your account.

While we understand this situation could have gone more smoothly, we made multiple efforts to assist, including offering a free overnight replacement and providing a return label. We also feel it is important to note that multiple members of our team were spoken to in an unnecessarily rude manner throughout the process, please do not throw rocks inside a glass house.

We apologize for any delay caused by UPS and for the frustration this situation created, but we believe we took reasonable and proactive steps to help resolve the issue.
