Good service and delivery - but slightly confusing when ordered via John Lewis

Having read many reviews about HDEW, I made my first purchase from them recently. They had the best price available, the transaction went smoothly and the goods were as advertised.

I happily recommend them.

Fantastic service and communication, not just for orders but their after sales care is brilliant too.
I had to send a lens off for repair & they were absolutely ace, refunded me the postage cost to send it away & kept me up to date on progress. They eventually replaced the lens as it was awaiting parts from Nikon for just over a week and they deemed that too long to wait. Good on you HDew, keep it up!
I'll be using you again and recommending you to friends :)

Slow delivery time and item was supplied with European power adapter not U.K. Had to wait another 7 days for adapter to arrive.. Resolved but so sloooooow. Will not use again..

I bought a Macbook Pro from HDEW Extra, the service was second to none. It arrived (in all its beauty) safely & securely packaged. The whole experience was easy and smooth. Thank you :)

Expensive CFAST card returned as faulty and corrupting images. Returned RM Special delivery due to £500 value. HDEWextra did refund for the card but not the postage which was £6.45. Emailed again asking for return postage fee and received no reply or refund. This company seems unaware of their obligations under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. This is a pity as HDEW had gained a good reputation for their customer service but I will not be buying from them again. Please think before ordering from them!!
UPDATE - Olly at HDEWextra has emailed to say that they made a genuine mistake and they will now refund the postage. Thank you Olly!!
