What an absolute con 1st you pay…

What an absolute con 1st you pay monthly for prime only to start watching programmes that half way through a series or the 3rd season in and you can’t watch anymore, you have to pay for hate, so u think well it’s only £5 more a month, right, then you start watching a series get half way through the 2nd bloody season and hay presto you cant watch anymore unless you pay a stupid amount of money!!!! I am so sick of tv people taking the p*** and rinsing normal hard working honest people out of money!!! Shame on you all I hope you rot in hell

DON'T RECOMENED HAYU

I DON,T RECOMENED SIGNING UP FOR THIS SUBSCRIPTION. The app and website are not good - weird glitches and would not work at all on some days. Not that much content either in comparison to other streaming services. I cancelled my subscription months ago but their website did not log it for some reason and they also do not send a reminder email just before a subscription renews like other companies. So I have been charged for a further 6 month and they refuse to refund. I don't plan on using this service at all so this is a waste of money.

Absolutely the most terrible company.
My fault that I hadn’t read the reviews before subscribing for six months 😡
I have fallen in love with Below Deck, but it can only be watched on this sh 1 T site. Missing episodes, poor quality, poor, poor quality, just absolutely sh 1t.
Avoid!!!!

Goes offline for days at a time. Beware.

Hayu loves to take your money for subscriptions, but the service barely works. Goes offline for days at a time, buffering problems, app doesn't work. Automated responses from customer service, no way to contact the company, no account credits for the regular outages. A reality TV station a great idea but it's a rinky dink operation - so unprofessional. I hate to say it, but it's easier and faster to download shows from the torrents.

Horrendous

Wow, this sign up and login process is horrendous. I've been trying to sign up/log in for the last few weeks and it never works. I can't send an email to the "Help & Support" they've linked me to...because you need to log in. The CTV app, desktop site and mobile app glitches all the time when watching, if you're lucky enough to be able to log in pr even loads. Hayu, you need to fix this ASAP because you're losing customers. For my girlies in Aus and looking for the Real Housewives, Binge has it with the latest episodes and so much better.

Generally an okay app

Generally an okay app. Does anyone else have issues with the app not registering what episode you’ve watched. For example, I’ll watch episode 1,2&3 of below deck… the next day I’ll go to watch episode 4 but it only says I’ve fully watched episode 1 .. gets super frustrating when you can’t remember where you’ve got too.

Too many glitches

Too many glitches, stops and starts all the time, subtitles disappear, freezers and the screen turns black.
It’s a bit of a shame as I was really excited to watch all the below deck seasons. I’ve spent majority of the time resetting the router WiFi, and the sky box several times, only to work out it may just be Hayu app? I would love the Hayu app to be fixed as it has all my favourite shows on here !

I would recommend

I remember downloading this app last year and I was very disappointed. I decided to give it another try and I was pleasantly surprised. I have no problem watching the TV shows, linking my TV. There are here and there some bugs like my screen freezes and I need to restart but compared to my previous experience- it’s quite the update. I would recommend trying out.

Need to fix user experience!!

I love what the app has to offer but to physically watch anything takes numerous reloading on my tv / phone. Will glitch half way through, end show and have to reload app. It’s slow, freezes, the worst streaming app for userbility which is such a shame as I want to use it!! this has been years of the same problem why arent they fixing these issues?

Hayu illegaly alter your password without permission.
All attempts to regain access to account usless.
The X help service is about as much use as a chocolate ashtray.
Never replies!
Will be cancelling my account with immediate effect.

Don’t bother signing up. Really poor value for money and app is glitchy as hell! They have been going for a few years but still run it as amateurs. Customer service is also very poor

Only advice is do not sign up ! omg. If you do, very hard to cancel. I signed up on my TV and could not access it. I emailed and was sent links, I followed and cancelled. It disappeared and I thought it was done. Apparently not. i have been charged. Hayu cannot not cancel it. Cancelled my end, off my TV as per their instructions, not their end ! Now emails backwards and forwards....generic emails....BE WARNED.

Update, still receiving generic emails.
I have worked out how this happens.
I added the subscription, and cancelled within an hour. But because I had 7 days free, this did not cancel out until the end of the 7 days.
So anybody with the same problem, cancel in MY SKY. After a few days it will show pending, then cancel after the 7 days.

The absolute worst 'service'.

The absolute worst 'service'.
I've been trying to sign up for 4 days as I saw they had a special offer on.
I had to try 4 different email addresses as it kept telling me i already had accounts under those email addresses (I'd never used them for hayu).
It then wouldn't let me actually subscribe as neither paypal or their card payment option worked.
I tried it on my laptop, tablet and phone browsers, the roku app and the hayu app on my tablet. Neither worked.
I tried contacting hayu support and they didn't even read my messages properly amd offered the most generic advice and wouldn't admit that there clearly was a problem on their end.
I got fed up of trying and decided to give up. I emailled them to request they close my account and delete my data. They didn't even read my request properly and just resent me the same generic advice again on how to sign up, completely ignoring the fact o had already tried everything.
The absolute worst service.
