I seem to be one of the few who had a good experience with this company.
I searched for an address for a Christmas card, they could not find the details and I asked for a refund.
Much to my surprise I received a full refund within a couple of days.
I therefore have to give them 5 stars. Very quick, very efficient and seemingly very honest.

Hawiyyah have been charging my wife's credit card each month for $45.17 AUD. Neither of us believe that we have ever subscribed to Hawiyyah. We have no record of log-in details. Attempts to unsubscribe haven't been successful. They refuse to respond, and have delivered absolutely nothing. After the most recent charge on 7/1/2024, I read the reviews and it appears that Hawiyyah looks like it is simply something of a scam. We've had to cancel the card to stop the scam.

I too have been scammed by these people. They say they are in Seattle. It is a scam. I changed my card and they are still trying to take my money. I have blocked them on my account. You need to block this company.

They tried to take money from my account.
Which they were not owed as I do not have any subscription with them.

My experience mirrors, those of previous reviewers. Apparently the only recourse a person has is to cancel their card.

Avoid at all costs. I have been paying £15 plus for 10 months now and I have lost count of how many times I have unsubscribed! Still waiting for a. refund but not holding my breath waiting for it to arrive!!

Was charged more than advertised, then a large subscription fee the next day that I never agreed to!

Scam,be aware that's all I can say. If you care for your money, don't go or touch. Bank are unable to do anything, incompetence I must say.once you have blocked your card and get a replacement they'll manage to hack your account again.

I used this company to search an address of a friend to send flowers for her birthday. They charged my credit card right away even though on their website it was mentioned the first search is free. I sent them an email which they never replied.

I used the Hawiyyah service and payed the nominal fee. The next day I was charged the full subscription price. I never took out a subscription and contacted Hawiyyah to try and find out how this had happened. The chatbox was not helpful, after asking what my issue was it stopped responding when I requested a refund.
I had to cancel my bank card and even though I have sent numerous requests through the customer service chat for them to cancel the subscription, they continue to try and take money out of my account.
I have informed my bank of the issue and will be informing Trading Standards.
I may also contact the police as the behaviour of Hawiyyah may be deemed criminal, potential fraud and theft charges.
Truly an outrageous company who must be making millions out of innocent people.
I didn't even want to give this company any stars.
I advise people to stay well clear. YOU WILL HAVE YOUR MONEY TAKEN

I asked for my money back, I got an E mail saying ok
The next month they again charged me US$19.25
I even cancelled my credit card , but somehow this month they have managed to find it and charge me again!!!
So far no service and $57.75 charges

scam been takeing £15-16 a month from my account for a year, i never agreed to anything like this, my fault i only just noticed payments going, avoid avoid avoid, do not enter any details on there website.

I had paid 0.95 for a quick search, which provided next to no info and the next day it charged me for a full subscription with no notice and no number to call. Full charge as 19.25 the next day showed up on my credit card. You can log in on their site and go to "payment history" and click refund. It says it will take up to 10 days to appear on your statement. I hope this helps others. Refund, surprisingly came back and got reversed back onto my cc.

Totally agree with bad reviews. I never signed up to this company and they try to take money from your account. I paid a nominal fee to look up an address but they didn’t search correctly. I haven’t got a subscription and have now cancelled my credit cardi thonknthe good reviews are made up. I never took out a subscription
Decided not to contact them directly as they then take your details and probably try to scam again
Atrocious company

Definitely a scam. They have taken $48 from my bank without permission. I can’t believe someone could just do this. Refund my money you scumbags!!!!

I wish I could give minus stars. They are totally incompetent & clearly scammers. I paid 78p for a search which never materialized. I contacted them numerous times. Every time they requested the same info which I had provided several times. They then requested a lot more info about the person I was searching for, which had not been requested originally. Anything to deflect & avoid providing the service they are supposed to. 3 times they said they would provide results & didn’t. BUT the worst thing was they tried to steal money from my card which hadn’t been mentioned before. I have a fraud checker which stopped this. DO NOT USE THESE EVIL SCUM

Same thing happened to me firstly it was 95p then today £16.24, spoke through chat this morning and was told I should receive confirmation of cancellation within 24hrs, they wouldn't tell me when or if i would receive money. Totally shocking all the scams that are around, think they all had a pow wow throughout covid. Can't even blow your nose without being scamed. I hope Hawiyyah come good and refund my money
